Hope not but I don't know. I only made my post posted that none of them had beards.
Yeah, I get that Adams was/is a bad guy with a Beard and that's probably why you posted the photo of him and Biden together.
Unless.......
Like me, you thought Joe Biden looks a little off in that photo. Like something just doesn't seem right.
Nah. I just think Gerry Adams is a murderous thug.
And -- as a Catholic -- I'll never understand American Catholics who see him and the rest of the IRA as anything but.
Seriously; considering all of the shit over hundreds of years that the church has a been involved in and has been overlooked by the parishioners, this is hardly a surprise.
Some people say Brandon killed it tonight at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
He was surprisingly good.

3 minutes of some of his best stuff:
Actually, it's probably not "his" best stuff.
Right or wrong, I'm assuming someone/some people wrote the jokes he told.

New President - New Gutter. I am going to pledge my allegiance to Donald J. Trump and for the next 4 years I am going to be an even bigger asshole than I already am.
I take for granted someone else wrote the jokes, whether it's Joe or any other president.
But, unlike the way he's portrayed by Republican state media outlets like Fox, he showed that indeed, he can speak in complete sentences and hold a thought, despite his age and being born with a stutter.
Republicans have no popular policies to promote, so they're left with trying to divide us, with "alternative facts", bigotry, and fear.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

interest rates still rising tho, above 5 now
what can the administration do about that?
that’s up to the Fed
my limited understanding is that “people” need to slow down on their spending in order for interest rates to drop

Powell is a disaster.
Trump said mean things about him when they were considering raising rates when they should have (tax cuts in middle of a strong economy - fucking criminal). So he didn't raise rates when it should have been obvious that inflation was coming.
Then they decided to raise rates again this week despite bank failures and inflation coming down.
Seems to have no clue that rate changes have a lagging effect. Dumbest piece of shit to ever have that job.

Another big Alaska fossil fuel project gets Biden team’s blessing
The $40 billion export project would be the second major fossil fuel initiative in the state to have stalled under the Trump administration — only to see its fortunes rise under Biden.
I know I’m just an idiot, but yea, if inflation outpaces wage growth, that’s not exactly getting a raise.
That's the plan. It takes a village. Without unnecessarily high interest rates to combat supply shortages they have no impact on, you might be doing really well and retire early. Focus.

Centrist politician weighs pros and cons of the current oil economy and war in Ukraine and acts in a way that angers progressives but he believes is in the best interest of the country. He would rather go all-in on a green solution, but a divided Congress is won't allow it.
