As far as LeBron, fair or not, I feel another championship wouldn't be much more for his legacy other than icing/gravy. I say that being..... The guy should always be considered in the GOAT conversation no matter if his current team loses to the Warriors, in the Western Finals, or in the NBA Finals - and if people like him or not.
Lol nobody besides Lakers fans think that. But they are contenders. Most people think Boston is the favorite right now.
Milwaukee was coming in... lol we see how that went. Phoenix was the other bandwagon everyone jumped on but I think they are pretenders not contenders

I will admit, the Lakers really revamped their team right before the dead line. Midway through the season a lot of people were debating if they'd even make the playoff

Didn’t they loose Jamal Murray at a key time last playoffs or something?
He missed 18 months with an acl. Missed the last 2 playoffs i beleive. Last playoffs he was healthy for was the bubble and he was dominant. People forget quick tho, and are sleeping on the nuggets

They got length, depth, rebounding, defense, and versatility to compete with anyone. The got Murray and the former mvp as stars, Aaron Gordon and Michael porter Jr are athletic freaks who have turned into damn good players too. I can't see anyone except maybe the Celtics beating them

Your first sentence is wrong.
I have spoken with numerous people who are very much in the know about how players, coaches, owners, GMs, CEOs, and agents involved with the NBA feel about the Lakers.

I don't know what "most people" think about the Celtics. Seems odds makers and gamblers feel Boston is the favorite right now.

I agree with you in giving the Bucks a lol.

I know nothing about "everyone" jumping on the Phoenix bandwagon. I know I did but for it was for personal reasons.

When I saw the Lakers were 55-1 odds to win the Championship on February 13th I took those odds and made a small wager. Coincidentally they went on a 17-7 run after that. Now watch them either lose 4 to the Warriors, Nuggets (or Suns), or in the Finals - just to fuck me.

Nice to see Embiid moving so well after 13 days off.

92 - 63 Boston with 0:44 left in the third?

Might as well sit and rest Embiid the way the Celtics are shooting from the outside, and the way Philly, isn't.

The NBA.
* Where anyone who tells you their wagers on games is anything more than a guess is a lie - when the 6ers can beat the Celts by 4 without having their league MVP playing and then lose to the Celts by 34 when they do have their MVP playing.
* When the Celts can get 50 points out of Tatum and Horford and lose and get 13 from Tatum and Horford and win.

Helped Boston that game 1 Jimmy Harden wasn't in the building last night. Would suck if his buying JoJo the Rolex was his kryptonite.

The Sixers efforts in the 3rd quarter last night were flat out embarrassing.

Not dumb if they bring in someone better. Problem is figuring out who is better that wants the job.
Being a Head Coach means very little job security and stability.
In the last year or so.....
Nurse won the 2019 championship. He got fired. Vogel won the 2020 championship. He got fired. Budenholzer won the 2021 championship. He got fired.
Maybe I am crazy but I believe all 3 of those guys are top 20 NBA coaches. Heck, two of them might be top 10. Some might say one or two of them are top 5. All that and a buck (dollar - not male deer) gets you a scratch off lottery ticket - and you fired.

Kind of a surprise, but not really; Budenholzer was on the verge of getting canned right before the Bucks won the championship a couple years ago.

Warriors came out to play last night.
As I said about Harden yesterday, Game 1 AD wasn't in the building last night.
Not sure if Kerr is a basketball genius or if it is just a case of no games are the same and NBA "parity" but the defensive adjustments were great.
I what I do know is LAST NIGHT showed me what randy believes may not be so true. Yet.
Dray, Steph, and Klay had a heck of a night. Can/will their "old" bodies hold up for whatever it takes to Win 11 more games?

I don't know if they win or lose the series without CP, but I do know Booker and Durant stepped it up BIG TIME last night. Enough so to get a W and have a duo performance > than a Jordan/Pippen duo.
That being said, I don't see them putting up another combined 86 points, 15 rebounds, 17 assist, 3 block performance.
Nuggs in 6 or 7?

Joker had 30 points, 17 rebounds, 17 assists, (a MVP type performance), and his team took an L. That's gotta suck for him.

Worthless predictions for today.
6ers win by 3
Suns win by 4

Which of course means the Celts and Nuggs will win.

With chris Paul, they aren't gonna win that series. The suns are the most overrated team in the NBA. Star offensive power, but no defense rebounding or depth
