(To be clear (right, wrong or otherwise), the fireable offense isn't the word, or even the belief. But the stupidity.)

That barely sounded like the guy.

I think he was drunk out of his mind.

Not that it's polite of you to allude to Randy and finiteJ that way.

You mean he's not usually drunk and/or out of his mind?

It’s not necessarily the word. But it’s the manner of saying it and saying it on a national platform because everything is national with ease of access.

He’s the biggest and most prominent employee of the state of West Virginia. There will be repercussions.

I wouldn't have said it, but I defend his right to free speech. I also defend the school's right to fire him if it violates an ethics policy in his contract. Jfish was right, it was the stupidity. He knows better. It really sounded like he was joking with some old friends and forgot he was on the radio. The guy has done tons of interviews and it's really dumb for him to do that.

Why should it? Such a soft ass country we live in. Somebody says the word "fag" and a 40 year career is maybe gone you think. There is absolutely ZERO reason he should lose his job over this lol. Not sure why anyone would even consider that

Who really gives a shit? Why is cancel culture and soft sensitive america such a thing

#bigotryisfun
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
