Re: Dumbfuck in charge
in fairness, the tribes kinda did that themselves… “the man” just made it legal on their land (which could easily be argued wasn’t their jurisdiction anyway…sovereign nations and all that)
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

As usual, go to hilarious (and illegal) lengths, no cost spared, but god forbid we actually address the fundamental causes of the problems (which, to be 100% clear, absolutely include widening wealth inequality and the R-aligned hollowing-out of social services).KUTradition wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2023 12:35 pm kinda reminds me other attempts at relocating our “less desirable” citizens under the auspices of “helping”

Just so's you know, you participate in the grifts by amplifying content (even on a "really makes you think" basis, without spending any money of your own).

Watch this. Classic Trump.
The mother fucker mistakes a woman who his not his wife - for being his wife. The same woman he has repeatedly said is not his type.

Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Dumbfuck in charge went on CNN and the dumbfucks in charge at CNN may have helped hand Trump the Presidency because of it.
What the f was the purpose of that? Other than to unite and fire up the Trump base even more?
I 100% agree with the sentiment expressed here...
P.S. Real or fake (I bet you can't tell) Cooper summed it up perfectly.

On one hand, CNN (and the other networks) airing Trump's rallies in 2016 clearly made a difference in that election.
On the other hand...the novelty has worn off, the energy is lower, and most importantly everyone not already in Trump's corner knows he's a complete fraud (of course, lots of people in Trump's corner know this too).
My point - how many truly undecided voters signed up for Trump last night? I honestly think it's a number in the four digits, MAYBE. Whatever number that is, it's probably lower than the number of Trump-curious CNN viewers who tuned in and were reminded why they're a NO on him.

Re: Dumbfuck in charge
i tend to agree
the audience reactions gives a false impression of the general electorate…it was overwhelmingly stocked with trump supporters
the group that might be up for grabs and that he would need to win the general, the swing voters, he likely didn’t sway in any substantive and positive way
regurgitating the same nonsense is likely nothing more than red meat for the ~70% of the republicans that are already on his side

It's also true that every time Trump finds a camera, he makes things easier for the various prosecutors on his soft ass.KUTradition wrote: ↑Thu May 11, 2023 9:47 am i tend to agree

i could see the argument being offered that his continued nonsense is proof that “honestly” believes there were issues, rather than intentionally breaking the law despite knowing there weren’t issues
