Sell while you can and migrate. Insurance rates aren't going to come down in the Southeast.

El Nino is coming, you should take advantage of the lull in hurricanes to dupe some rube into buying into DeSantos' Christofascistland.
Florida has more people moving there than any state because of desantis and his policies protecting freedoms and his fight against woke culture. The influx of people started during covid and hasn't stopped
No, not "because of" DeSantis "and his policies his policies protecting freedoms and his fight against woke culture".
Maybe that's the reason/s for some people but definitely not for all.

It has a lot to do with desantis. There is data backing it. He kind of became the face of "the resistance" against draconian covid lockdowns and mandates. Florida has an influx of people moving there from places like New York, to escape those mandates.

Desantis then won reelection in a landslide. Yes, there are other reasons to move to Florida. But desantis policies were the cause of a spike of people moving to Florida

cherry picking stats is a bit deceitful

nearly all of the south has seen population increases, irrespective of red or blue state. florida, in particular, has always been at the top of growth. not surprising, the other state right at the top (and has been for some time) is texas

i’d argue that urban migration has more to do with tax structure than anything else. people tend to be leaving those states because of the culture war issues, not the reverse

Desantis is also trumps biggest threat in his party. He scares Trump to some degree, and Trump desperately wants to avoid a desantis campaign in 2024

nobody moves to a particular state because of their governor. you move to a state for work. or for family. that's it. the only two reasons.

Lol.

I suppose it's not really that surprising that Randy the Rube is in DeSantis' thrall. He's exactly the target audience.

I'll hear out any politician that wants to limit federal government power and spending, regardless of their afilitiation or what media outlets want me to think of them

lol…that’s NOT at all desantis, based on his legislating at the state level

he’s given florida’s government more power, not limited it

Major republican donors are some of the shadiest people out there. Major democrat donors too. Rich people looking for power and a financial kickback

Never said I was that big on desantis. Just said he scares Trump. A lot of people like him, but his work in congress trying to reign in big government impressed me more than some of his post covid battles where he's gotten a little caught up in the culture war

But, if you actually read into what he is working on, it isn't nearly as bad as the media wants you to beleive. Like the "don't say gay" bill is actually very sensible, is aimed at keeping school focused on academics, and then the media attached propaganda on it because it removes the lefts woke agenda from Florida school systems

There is no need for woke agenda, or any agenda, in school systems. That would be bipartisan line of thinking. The people who oppose that are ones that actually want to indoctrinate the youth

And it's good that the right wankers should keep moving down south. The competition is probably too much for many in those prosperous blue States.

And yeah, 250,000 people leaving a State with a population of 39.5M probably will make a huge dent in the economy of California, if it keeps up for 50 years.

And FL GDP is growing as well, they hit $1B last year! If they can just triple their GDP this year they could catch Cali!

But I should focus on the subject at thread. Desantos is a halfwit nutjob trump wannabe who steps on his own dick so much it is comical. Ron wets himself every time trump speaks his name for fear of getting called names. To call Ron a cuck would be an affront to cucks.

In closing; Desantos is obviously the future of the Republican Party, unless RFK jr comes out as transpolitical soon.

Most of them don't even know why they don't like him. They've just heard the legacy liberal media put out a few propaganda spun talking point on his policies and jumped on board

Rfk Jr is a democrat. Hes an honest one though, so the deep state is trying to stomp out his campaign before it gets any momentum

Rjk Jr is running so that he can expose and restrict the unelected officials that are ruling this country. That is why he has entered the race
