One of my favorite pandemic moments in Florida was when Nancy pelosi decided to buy a multi million dollar mansion in Florida during the middle of the pandemic

Apparently desantis/Florida were doing ok. Or maybe she just needed to escape her own policies in california

I'll leave it to you fascists to put a positive spin on governors banning books, using tax payer's money to punish corporations that don't agree with them, voter suppression, and being a despicable person.
You hit every piece of desantis propaganda in one post. Well done. Here we can address the book ban thing first

And voter suppression is always the dumbest argument. There is absolutely nothing suppressing about requiring ID to vote. You need ID for damn near everything these days

What the hell kind of half ass adult doesn't have an ID

Is getting an ID free? Until it is it will be unconstitutional as it’s equivalent to a poll tax.

I’m surprised that The Libertarian doesn’t recognize an individual’s right to not obtain a state granted ID!

I agree that it should be a free service. Ive always said that. Of all the wasteful government spending, surely there is room in the budget for the government to cover IDs

I dont think people should be forced to carry IDs with them everywhere they go. But providing them when you vote and prove youre a legal voter isn't asking much

seriously, think before you post…even if just a little
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

If you want to know why someone did something, it makes more sense to ask them, than to ask someone else. Pretty simple boys

Ron desantis: doesn't think books that teach 7 year old boys how to suck each other off belong in school libraries

Liberals: "fascist!!! Desantis is banning books"

You're so, so bad at this. Things put out by a guy's press office are literally propaganda produced by that guy. I know you have massive sourcing and critical thinking issues, but this is a new low.

Is it in the Constitution? I thought you guys are Originalists?? So your (The Libertarian) position is that the government can force me to obtain an ID to be able exercise my Constitutionally guaranteed right to vote.

As Trad said, love the pretzel logic!!

Ok, so it's a politically motivated poll tax.

That's not better!

Just, as a fun exercise I guess, what do you think the arguments against voter ID requirements are? I'm not saying you need to agree with them. But, just, what are they?

The shitty thing about voting is that getting the most votes doesn't mean you're the best candidate. Biden is a good example of that. Record voter turnout means more people who never voted and don't know what the fuck they are voting for are all casting a vote

Getting the most votes means...you got the most votes.

But yes we can all see where you're going: choosing whose votes count, and whose don't. That's hardly a new concept, particularly on the R side of the fence.
