I’m over this season...

“I don’t remember anything he said, but it was a very memorable speech.” Julian Wright on a speech Michael Jordan gave to a group he was in

"But don’t ever get it twisted, it’s Rock Chalk forever." MG

Hmmm...HCBS certainly didn't mention that on HawkTalk tonight...unless I completely missed it...said there was a couple of situations that kept Vick out of the starting lineup.

Joking aside, hopefully it's nothing with his child/children.

He saved our ass a few times this year. Not my favorite Jayhawk. Not my least favorite Jayhawk. Seems like a new chapter may be best for both parties involved.

There wuz a certain somebody after that game who was calling to *holds breath* bench him.

But go figure, I didn’t even put it in the suggestion box or anything!

This feels very similar to when Arnold had personal regret and decided to travel for 2 weeks to Mars in order to sort life out. In the end, he never left.

"Lagerald has some personal matters that require his immediate attention and he will be taking a leave of absence from our team," coach Bill Self said. "During this time, we will respect Lagerald's privacy. There is no timetable for his return."

The player's mother, La La Vick, told the Kansas City Star that she wanted him home in Memphis, Tennessee.
"We need him here for a couple weeks," La La Vick told The Star. "I need him. There's a lot going on. It'll work out."

“Not being totally negative at all, he has some things going on that (aren’t) public things, so I think that he hasn’t been his best because of those things,” Self said on Hawk Talk, not revealing anything that possibly is wrong with Vick or his family members.

“I don’t think it’s anything you go into, some of the things he’s had going on. But it’d be nice to have our full complement (of players). That’s not the case.”

We're playing with house money at this point.
-No Dok
-No Silvo
and I'm guessing no LaGerald for awhile?

This is a shell of the team that was so lauded during the pre-season.
F*ck it. Push this chips to the middle and see what happens

Any chance Bills starts bringing in and playing football players?
Wonder if that will/would fly with Les. Last thing we need is dissension between the two of them.

That’s the thing!

On Tuesday we played pretty well - with poise and execution - in that first half, with Vick buried on the bench.

Then as soon as we had to rely on the dude in the second half we started loosing again.

I’m willing to take this team’s chances on the dudes who were winning, and who haven’t ever Laura Bauer’d.

And for real it pains me to say it! *exhales*

If we're ever going to loose the title, seems like now.

I admit my ignorance. Who didn't we get that Self felt the need to take Vick back?
