Re: Uncle Joe
we had one in the 90s
funny story: we were living in New Mexico at the time, and had an hispanic family friend loose his mind over the “door ajar” warning/notification (“j” as an “h”)
it remains a family joke to this day
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Reminds me of the Ed Sullivan show
When he had a Hispanic man on and all he did was say his name (Jose Jimenez) and the audience thought it was funny.

that literally happened, and once it was explained to him, he had a good laugh too

But it looks like the funding bill passed?twocoach wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 10:19 amTHIS. Any claims about Biden being soft on the border can just stuff it in their ear. Changes are needed and those changes require funding. Funding that was voted down by Republicans.

so...instead of contrasting and comparing the two....and doing this fun he said she said team defense thing that happens....
could we...perhaps...unlilaterally determine that they are both unfit for the highest office in the world?

We all wish they were both younger, and more eloquent.
Republicans had the opportunity to solve their, and our nation's problem, quite easily on two occasions. Instead, they fell in line behind a fascist who wants to "eliminate" the constitution since his violent coup attempt to stop the peaceful transfer of power didn't work; withheld military assistance from Ukraine in an attempt to extort its president to "investigate" his political foe while sucking up to Putin and threatening to leave NATO, while his son-in-law was given $2 Billion from the Saudis because...?
Meanwhile, the deficit is coming down, inflation is coming down-in 4/23, of the 24 largest economies in the world the US inflation rate was 12th lowest, lower than Germany, the Netherlands, France, the UK, Australia, and Italy; unemployment is at a 50-year low and Black unemployment is the lowest its ever been, and gasoline is $1.05 cheaper at an average of $3.57/gallon for the week ending 5/29/23 than it was for the week ending 5/30/22 at $4.62/gallon a year ago.
Color me not conflicted about which one to choose.

I think it’s a huge leap to say Biden is unfit. He’s old. He misspeaks. Those things are both true. But his reasoning and judgment both seem perfectly sound. He seems to have plenty of energy.

Thank youuuu. Age has not quite hit Trump as hard as its hitting biden, but he is no spring chicken either.
Most Americans try to retire by 65 right? Or younger. Why in the hell would we even consider having politicians older than this
Re: Uncle Joe
Didn't Ford have a falling problem too? Or was that just Chevy Chase's depiction of him?
