Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
Trad and Feral - I thank you and the feeling is mutual.
Typically I try and be a decent person but this place proves I am far from being perfect in that regard.
Back to the fungus....
Either A.J. Benza or Jamie Foxx's rep is full of shit - see link below.
Not sure but I think I shared that Foxx was/is in rehab across the street from where I live.

The white house is mandating masks again. Lol. For visiting college guests. Only for people that are not fully vaccinated and up to date with boosters. They have a bunch of college students visiting for college athletes days
There is absolutely no reason in June 2023 to make a move like this, is obviously just "government obedience programming" for young people visiting the Whitehouse

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
It is actually wise to do that with any long distance visitors. Something densely populated Asian countries have always done

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
So despite overwhelming evidence that these vaccines and booster do not prevent transmission, despite overwhelming evidence that asymptomatic people were never really the spreaders of this virus, we require only unvaccinated people to mask up, and not others.
That isn't science based, that's a political demand

randy’s “facts”
lol
lol
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
perhaps they (the white house) wouldn't be so concerned about it if it wasn't also (and most of dc) a nursing home.

1. The White House isn't so concerned about it.
2. The average age of people working in the White House is lower than the average age of people posting on here.
3. The average age of DC residents is below the national age.
In other words, you kinda made a randy type post.
Just sayin'

Right! It's a collection of old people who are fat fuck Liberals. 3 groups of people you are openly critical of and yet you can't help yourself and stick around here. Why?randylahey wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 11:36 amThis board isn't far from being a nursing home itselfRainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 10:54 am1. What makes someone too old to be President? I would happily vote for an old fuck who is competent over a young fuck who's not.TDub wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 11:46 amok, mr literal.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 10:54 am1. The White House isn't so concerned about it.

Yes, our last two Presidents have been "old as fuck". Unfortunately, they have both been poor choices (to/for me) regardless of their ages.
If they are on the ballot, I will abstain from voting for either of them in 2024.
As far as Covid, I feel it should be low on "our" list of worries right now.
I don't know if you clicked on the link I provided for randy but if you did, it's somewhat confusing/conflicting. It's possible "the White House" may have "inadvertently" sent out the email regarding requirements/(mandates?) for visitors. Therefore, it may be low on "their" list too.

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
id say wearing diapers (trump) or needing someone to remind you where you are (Biden) makes you too old.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 12:14 pmWhat makes someone too old to be President? If youre too old to reasonably run a company.....youre too old to run the country.

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
We need a generational shift, but Biden has done a tremendous job with a lot of America's melon cored out by MAGA and Libertarian selfish lunacy. Neglect infrastructure. Ignore climate change. Cut taxes in long wars for the one percent. Insurrection. Blaming immgrants.
Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett is 92. Joe Biden will be 82 in Nov '24. In the 10 years since June 2013 when Buffett was 82, the market cap, i.e., total value, of Berkshire has increased from ~ $415 billion dollars to 1 trillion 116 billion dollars, or by 2.7 times.
I wonder if the shareholders of Berkshire Hathaway agree with you that someone who is 82 is "too old to reasonably run a country"?

to answer youre question i would absolutely not vote for Warren Buffett to be president.
If youre insistent .....you found 1 person out of....how many over 80? does the exception prove the rule?
