We shoulda beaten OU at home a couple seasons ago but got cheated.

Call me crazy but none of those home games look like impossible wins…ie you’re saying there’s a chance with every one.

Hishaw is all the way back from injury, yes? He and Neal were making quite a good 1-2 running punch before he got hurt

Man our recruiting this year has been awesome. The NCAA has changed the rules so much it's hard to keep track but we have 15 recruits and they all good. We might take one or two more the WR Marsh for sure but because of the numbers we look pretty done. Basically the rules are get to 85 in the fall and looking at the roster we have probably less than 20 spots open for next year.

If we're not close to a full 85 schollies yet, we're as close as you could be.

And, whether it's popular or not, thank Les Miles for completing changing the recruiting mindset. Gone were the JUCO recruiting that Weis and Beaty did often and he focused on HS kids.

Now Leipold is focusing of HS recruits and FBS transfers. He's found a good balance.

I'd bet KU does better than that.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Yeah, I'm really excited about this class. 4 stars Marsh and Boganowski seemingly still in play too, as well as a couple lower-ranked guys.

Does better than that in what? Conference? Maybe.
I predict KU wins 50% or less of ALL the games KU plays - before possibly playing in a Bowl game.
I hope I'm wrong.

texas has more talent than any other squad. whether that overcomes coaching and entitlement, we'll just have to see this fall. ou has to prove it. but boomer also has talent and plays a light schedule missing their final return trip to manhattan. i like sonny dykes over joey mcquire, who too often coaches like it's friday night rather than saturday. baylor's an enigma. oSu has a long way back from last year's malaise made easier by the league's simplest schedule. ku is good offensively; the illinois game will be telling. k-state will look much like last year. isu will improve mostly from more experienced qb play and a new hopefully better o'coordinator. the four newbies will have a tough go of it late due to depth issues, with the exception perhaps of ucf as shown by media respect in the preseason rankings. wvu will be coach hunting.

KU supposedly getting new uniforms soon...not sure what they'll look like yet, though.

The focus is definitely on Kansas and the Jayhawk. As it should be.

The other football school in the state has nothing about Kansas anywhere on their uniforms or even on their field. Focused on a stenciled drawing and an abbreviation everywhere they can put it.
