How else are they supposed to make money? War is the one proven way to get rich and stay rich. The trick is feeding the oUTrAgE fires of public opinion.
Yep. 100 percent %

All the "we stand with Ukraine" people are playing right into it
You like Russian invasion? WTF is wrong with you? Ukraine is fighting the war we deferred after WW II. Bill is due. Wagner has a few openings for you.
Nope. Anti war all around. Us funneling hundreds of billions of dollars into one is absolutely ridiculous

And there is nothing true about the ww2 statement

The US is involved because we have our dirty hands all over Ukraine. We've interfered in their elections, to unseat a leader the Ukrainian people elected. And have been meddling in their affairs for quite awhile

Zelensky is crooked and so is the biden administration. The Ukrainian/Russia picture is bigger than just "Russia invaded them"

Russia shouldn't have invaded. But anyone that thinks the US response of creating a new endless war is appropriate, is fucked in the head

“I had no recollection of our encounter,” he said of Roberts. Yet he put her on the payroll of his consulting firm as a personal assistant while she was pregnant. About three months after Navy was born, Hunter took away Roberts’s company health insurance.

The US has not created anything. And there are no indications that what we're pointed toward is anything like an "endless war".

I would suggest that those who have succumbed to Russian (and pro-Russian) disinformation and grift are those who have been fucked in the head.

The party of “Obama wearing a tan suit is OUTRAGEOUS” just can’t quit going back to the idiocy well.
Um, so yer sayin’ that if Don, Jr. was snorting blow in common areas of the White House in 2018, you’d say it wasn’t a big deal? My guess is no.

Zelensky is not a good guy, either. Bottom line is that we need to tend to our own knitting here at home, not send billions to an overseas proxy war that has nothing to do with the wellbeing of our citizens. We could have spent that money on securing our border and employed a lot of folks in the process or improved our power grid or our infrastructure, among other things.

But, the right would never put that money to any of the programs you listed, nor would they apply it to health care, food, housing, and the welfare of those in need. Tax breaks for the richest would be offered.

The jumps here would have scared Evel Knievel in his prime.

In any case - Don Jr. has himself provided ample evidence of his use of something during (and since) his father's presidency. I do not recall much scandalmongering over it, whether from the left or otherwise?

I strongly disagree that what happens in Ukraine has "nothing to do with the wellbeing of our citizens."

(It's also the case that a traditionally strongly-right-leaning, massive chunk of our private economy is quite pleased with what's happening and what will need to happen as a result.)

You may be correct. I’m not down with the Right, either. Is there a Common Sense option?

Hunter has an actual criminal record related to certain substances, IIRC.

Why are you even bringing Hunter up? Why did you even bring Don Jr. up (if not as an excuse to bring Hunter up)?

The "money," of course, is already going to the richest -- those with the largest holdings of Lockheed, Raytheon, Boeing, etc.

Ike warned us.

Because it's only natural to assume that the cocaine found in the White House belongs to the recovering coke addict who (more or less) lives there right now.

Just because it's highly unlikely to be his doesn't mean that it's especially out of line to wonder if it is.

And I suspect you know that.
