Good fun.
1 - Russia has been using much less reliable (meaning, less-immediately-explodey) cluster bombs when attacking the territory it's now defending, so there's already going to be a huge saturation problem. That die is cast.

2 - If Ukraine perceives that the juice (the temporizing effect using cluster bombs can have) is worth the squeeze (adding more unexploded ordnance to its own territory), seems to me it's their call to make.

3. The Ukrainians will dismantle some percentage of these for drone dropped ordnance.

dang.

I thought this was getting bumped cuz of that "P" word; that Zelensky apparently used in Turkey, and that former U.S. adults in the room apparently used with Russia, and so on.

But go figure, this thread is still only good for takes as hot as,

"Russian cluster bombs bad Ukrainian cluster bombs good"

(and never mind the fact that as the "P" word gets floated again, the U.S. response is...cluster bombs.)

It’s some satirization of your comment.

It was either that, or, something about how I guess that makes America just some MORE-immediately-explodey version of Russia.

Ok.

But when Person A says that Thing 1 is less bad than Thing 2, and Person B describes Person A has having said that Thing 1 is good, then Person B is engaging in misleading behavior.

Randy behavior.

Don’t engage in Randy behavior.

I've always loved Cornel West. He's wrong about almost everything -- but brilliantly and unabashedly so.

What am I blaming you for? I’m just using you as an example for this sort of behavior, constructing straw man arguments that distort what someone actually said.

You do it all the time, along with other misinformation tricks, because you hardly ever have objective, factual support for the things you desperately want to be true.
