Re: Jayhawks in the NBA

JW with the game winner last night
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
Re: Jayhawks in the NBA
Whoa, Julian Wright’s still in summer league?
Wait…nm

Re: Jayhawks in the NBA
I guess summer league OT rules is first to the target score wins
And seems befitting he gets it off a rebound putback
Maybe he can find himself a niche in the league as a garbage guy

Meh. Scoring average in the Summer League is akin to say, the first 3 weeks of Spring Training baseball, right?
That said, I hope he sticks.

Re: Jayhawks in the NBA
I mean, didn’t Jalen struggle against more athletic teams like Texas last year?
I was kinda worried he might do the same in the league, so 16 per seems good
7 boreds a game and .500 from deep too
But yea, only summer league

Maybe it was because Texas entire gameplan was to slow him down. He won't have to worry about that at the next level

Re: Jayhawks in the NBA
Maybe not exactly, but he will have to worry that the average NBA player is at least 2-5x better than all but maybe one aggregate player for Texas, or any team we faced last year.randylahey wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 3:07 pmMaybe it was because Texas entire gameplan was to slow him down. It’s folly to make such jumps/assumptions, IMO.

Anyone that's ever watched a basketball game knows there's a huge difference between all 5 guys keying in
And focusing on keeping you out of the lane

Huh? You always think you are personally attacked or something?
Or you didn’t read the aggregate part?
I dunno. But weirdly mocking response.

Maybe if he went to K-State.
His college accomplishments earned him both of those honors at Kansas.
Re: Jayhawks in the NBA
He is no Booty Neal though.
