Re: Conspiracies
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
Re: Conspiracies
I'll never stop being amazed at some of the stupid shit people will allow themselves to believe.

I don't know. Dude doesn't exactly have the name and the look of someone who would be a fan of a Swastika flag. Let the conspiracies begin!

New President - New Gutter. I am going to pledge my allegiance to Donald J. Trump and for the next 4 years I am going to be an even bigger asshole than I already am.

I counter that with:
"...of Chesterfield, Missouri"
"...of Chesterfield, Missouri"

It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic, and a threat to our country.

Re: Conspiracies
To be fair, Gates' actual point there is a pretty classic screwing up of causation vs correlation

i think it was more a failure to fully explain the data trends (and their causes) than anything

Re: Conspiracies
But he's saying that high childhood mortality rates cause higher birth rates.
That's actually true in animals, but that's a product of evolution - species in which lots of young ones die wouldn't survive without high fertility.
In humans both are more correlated (and more likely caused by) low income and education.

Re: Conspiracies
sure, but the point that didn’t get made well enough is that adequate nutrition and healthcare (with things like vaccines) tends to lead to fewer births…”poor” families don’t feel the need to hedge their bets by having “extra” kids because there’s a higher likelihood that they grow to adulthoodMjl wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 9:30 pm But he's saying that high childhood mortality rates cause higher birth rates.

Guess who claims he was on the plane?

I'm a bit surprised randy didn't accuse the woman of being "overly" vaccinated and/or the alleged "not real" person of being a child trafficker.
I assume randy thinks "big government" and/or the Libs/Dems were in on it and are trying to have the video censored because the woman must have been the one who brought cocaine into the White House and was using it with Hunter.
