What a clown. He doesn't even believe the shit he's saying. He'd be the world's worst poker player as his face gives away every lie he tells.

What Hunter Biden did is cash in on his Dad's name for a few million dollars. The Trump kids made over a billion during Trump's administration. Spare me.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

At this point, Republican candidates are just trying to fit as many Buzzwords For Idiots into every speech that they can to keep the social media shares, likes and clicks going. Any Republican looking to flush the Trump turd down the toilet and clear the stink out of the nation would be wise to avoid this guy because he is just resorting to the same smelly shit.

Not happy to read this at all. Biden needs to put more funding and pressure towards getting away from private detention centers.

when these sorts of things are run in a for-profit way, people will suffer…it’s really no different than prisons in this sense

maximizing profit while minimizing investment is ok…so long as human welfare isn’t caught in the middle

Private Equity companies have been buying up and now own about 70% of the hospital emergency room physician groups in the US, and according to the physicians and staff, the increased number of tests they're required to order reflects the change, as in higher margins for the PE owners, and increased costs for individuals, insurance co.s, Medicare, and Medicaid.

We'll never stop sending people to prison or to the ER so I can see why money makers would want to get invested in those economies. It sucks.

Next thing the economy will be set to crash because we have too much refined natural gas and not enough stoves.

Aw fuck I just realized that we're only 18-24 months out from the rubes making a CAUSE movie about gas stoves. And then I get to get criticized for pointing out that BP and ExxonMobil funded it, and will be accused of being ANTI ENERGY INDEPENDENCE.

$166 billion might be less than 10% of the $1.9 billion dollar tax cut Trump and republicans gave to the already rich, which is roughly 25% of the total amount Trump added to the national debt in only 4 years, but it's a start. Hard to believe it was a year ago when democrats were able to get it passed despite overwhelming republican opposition.

this is a couple months old, but apparently is still holding true according to SLC’s mayor

https://www.ksl.com/article/50645849/bi ... poll-finds

i’m admittedly a bit surprised, but polls are…well…just polls

edit: that’s not actually what i was looking for. the mayor said this morning that Biden leads trump in Utah, which i found surprising
