Trump has never actually won, literally, anything other than one (racist) oddity called the Electoral College* in 2016. He has the singular distinction of bankrupting an f-ing casino! He is a losingest loser.

*we’re the only country where the loser actually becomes president.

Make no mistake, this is Luttig begging the pubs to grab the lifeboat before 2024 becomes not just a ballot box wipeout, but the de facto death of the party, which will move EVERYTHING to the left (in that the inevitable result is that the majority will split into two wings of non-Trump, being a super progressive wing and modestly progressive wing).

LOL! The only way you will think there was an actual free, fair election in 2024 is if Trump wins in a landslide. Got it.
In other words, you pretty much know Trump is NOT going to win in a landslide and you will blame a not free nor fair election on his loss. Got it.
What if he wins but not in a "landslide"? "Free" and "fair"? Or no?

This is what our country has become in 2023. A nation of people who feel something isn't right or fair unless they get their way.
To me, it's not "fair" that children get terminal cancer and suffer.
To the JKs of the USA in 2023, it's not "fair" if/that Trump can't/won't win the 2024 election in a landslide.

If the will of the people is expressed, as it should be in a free and fair election, Trump will win.

SUPPOSEDLY there are approximately 40 million registered Republican voters and there are approximately 50 million registered Democrat voters.
IN A "FREE and FAIR" election, if all 50 million registered Democrat voters vote for the Democratic nominee and all 40 million registered Republican voters vote for the Republican nominee......
Then forgetting the Electoral College, you tell me what the outcome should be.

Key word: supposedly.

You also need to take into account non-party affiliated voters and those, like me, who are registered with other parties. I would also imagine that there are Dems who are smart enough to vote for a better country rather than party loyalty.

Who’s going to tell Psych that there’s a whole lot of voters who have never seen a Republican get a majority of votes in a presidential election? Free and fair!!

Yes, we all know how “fair” counting of votes is done.

The republican candidate for president has only won the majority of voters once since 1988.

One time in the last 8 elections, but Psych is convinced Trump will win in 2024.

Psych isn't impaired by minutia like reality, and thus, never disappoints.

It’s telling that the mythmaking has moved away from “voter fraud” (which has been established to not exist at anything approaching meaningful levels) to a more nebulous (and thus more difficult to disprove) assertion that elections are not “free and fair”.

This - going to the “make them prove a negative” approach out of desperation - is what struggling to get traction looks like.

Those who oppose the Democrats would be wise to toss the extremists over the side of the R boat as soon as possible, even if it means losing the legislative branch (along with executive) in 2024.

Because allowing the party to implode on itself (leaving a gap for EVERYTHING to lurch left) is not what’s best for the country (and of course nor is it what’s best for most Rs).

But that’s where things are going, and the Rs are just whistling along toward it.

One might assume that because you post fewer times, the content of your posts would be particularly insightful.

One would be terribly wrong.

Ouchie!

One win out of 11 candidates, in Mississippi?

Republican voters deliver fatal blow to Mississippi’s far-right conservative movement

...{T}he movement suffered a much bigger blow Tuesday night than just McDaniel. Numerous representatives of far-right conservatives in Mississippi circulated an endorsement list on social media that included 11 candidates for statewide, regional commission, or legislative seats.

These candidates were all challenging Republicans who the faction deemed “not conservative enough.”
As one leader wrote of the endorsements in an email the night before Election Day, “This election is Mississippi’s fight for conservative government. If the liberal Hosemann side of the Republican party wins tomorrow, I believe Mississippi will return to a Democrat controlled government within a few years.”

The warnings and coordination fell flat, to say the least. All but one of those endorsed candidates, listed below in bold, lost their primaries — and most by substantial vote margins...
