Being critical is one thing. Saying our players are garbage is beyond being critical.

All in all this game turned out pretty much as expected. In my zeal and unrestrained cool-aide drinking I was hoping for something like 56-3, which of course, was unrealistic. Improvements on the field on both sides of the ball during the game are cause for optimism. 2 main concerns: 1) The health of JD, 2) the defense's overall inability to pressure the QB.

Bean looked better than I expected, but we will need a healthy JD moving forward. Defense needs to get better in all respects.

The offense will be good with Bean, great with JD.

The defense is a work in progress; it'll probably be a little better than last year, but there's a chance it could be worse.

This game was close to being 56-0 though. The Hishaw fumble led to a wasted drive and a short field. Then there was the terrible timeout the refs allowed on fourth down. Casey had that one. Bryant missed a shoe top pick six as well. But special teams were tremendous.

First game. Special teams lights out better. We got the O just need the D. A lot of new ballers in the front seven. I think this is first year that they have the players for the 4-3 D. They had Miles players for the 3-4 the last two years. The D has to be better than last year. Big game next week.
