Hypocrisy being there were people who didn't care for Obama based solely on his brown skin and/or perceived arrogance/cockiness/confidence.
My guess is some/many of those people who didn't like Obama for those reasons alone - like Ramaswamy.

Is it possible that most of us didn’t hate Obama because he was a brown Muslim with a funny name, but because he was a socialist ass clown? If you accept that premise, Ramaswamy’s popularity isn’t hard to understand.

I'm agreeing that Ramaswamy has similar skin color and mannerisms. I'm arguing that people didn't primarily dislike Obama for these things but for his socialist orientation. There is no hypocrisy, just a need for Obamaites to feel superior.
