Fox Sports' production of the TCU/CU game is ass; not enough actual game noise and the score overlay is too big and obnoxious.

Should be able to watch Fox, ABC, NBC, and CBS without cable, at a bare minimum.

I have no idea what school has the most football merchandise sold but I have a strong feeling CU merchandise sales have increased dramatically since Coach Sanders took the helm.

Incredible how one game in I figure Coach Sanders has to be a top 10 candidate to win coach of the year and Shedeur Sanders went from being out of the top 20 to being a top 10 candidate to win the Heisman.

Illinois sucks. At least they suck tonight. So far. Down 12-7 at halftime. 9 penalties in the first half.

I have very mixed feelings about him but understand your sentiment and know you two are hardly alone with your feelings.
Meanwhile, we all need to realize this isn't your father's NCAA.
The NCAA as your father, and you, and I, knew it, is over.

Sure.
That CFB ( NCAA might be gone in 5 years ) is over.
I can still bitch endlessly and root against him.

Toledo is working then over for sure. Might bode well for KU next week.

Right on cue.....
Toldeo gets a pick and then follows it up by giving up a pick 6 - and the complexion of the game completely changed.
P.S. The Cucking Flubs wasted 8 scoreless innings and are DONE!
P.S.S. I made a mistake in the pick 6 at Del Mar that cost me $970.
P.S.S.S. This night is going to be JUNK! when the Illness come back and win this game.

Moving on from the biggest story in college football......

5 thoughts about yesterday's games.

1. I don't know how bad Portland State's defense is this season and I don't know how good Oregon's offense is but last season Portland State had games in which their opponent scored 52, 53, 42, 56, 45, and 49, points.
Oregon had a game where they scored 70 and followed it up with 7 consecutive games of scoring 40 or more points.
Yes, 81-7 is a crazy final score but maybe it's not as surprising as people think it is?

2. The Pac 12 is evaporating. The Pac 12 has 5 teams in the top 20. 4 of the 5 are legit. Right now.

3. Caleb Williams is good.

4. The current top 4 are Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, and Alabama. VERY difficult for the teams that are top 4 in the first weekend in September to finish in the top 4 going in to Bowl games but other than USC and Notre Dame, I'm not sure what other teams have a legitimate chance to finish top 4. Obviously Texas IF they run the table and Clemson IF they run the table but I would bet against it.

5. This guy may be out of a job today.
A. OSU was NEVER trailing in the game. They were UP 13-7 when he put him in the game.
B. BEFORE the game Gundy said his plan was to play 3 QBS in the game. He did just that. Heck, his plan was to play each guy 4 series - and he did just that.
C. Gunnar Gundy is a walk-on because he chose to go to OSU and his father is the coach. That's a bad thing? While he may not be a great college QB, he's played college games and he played fairly well in those games.

Portland state is fing awful. They've been an early season whipping boy for the div 1 NW teams for years in both football and basketball. 81 pts is still a ton.

I was impressed with Penix Jr. 75% completion percentage, 450 yards, 5 TDs against Boise St.
