Biden's statement was a gaffe and nothing more. It was not at all the message being sent out as "left wing propaganda". The media properly called him out for it and it was labeled as untrue.

Here's the AP News the morning after that comment:
https://apnews.com/article/joe-biden-bu ... e2ae9a0211

Here/s CNN calling him out for the incorrect statement:
https://www.cnn.com/2021/07/22/politics ... index.html

But par for the course, he takes one blip and transforms it into "the norm". Just more lies like so many of his statements here.
It was more than that, because faucci also made that statement at one point. Many people within the media echoed the same statement at one point. That if you get the vaccine you won't get covid.

Yes it was wrong, yes it was later retracted. But it was also echoed for a time go coerce the population

I'm for anyone who can beat the Neo-Nazi, pro-Putin, fascist cult.

Biden did it once by > 7,000,000 votes, and if Trump's Neo-Nazi cult nominates him again, unless Putin, Xi, and Un are able to help Trump steal it, Biden will beat him, again.

I'm not a Biden groupie but I am someone who is in the know.
I promise you at this moment (or at least as of yesterday) there is no plan for Biden to be abandoned for Michelle Obama.
Now if Biden for some reason is not going to run for President in 2024 because he drops out for whatever reason/s - or dies, I assume Michelle Obama would be considered by the "establishment". The question would then be if she would want to run. I'm not convinced she would.

They have to make statements at the time given what they know. They do not get the luxury to wait until you have been given the optimal amount of time it takes to fully test and examine a living, mutating virus that is spreading quickly.

As time passes and you learn more, you discover that some of the things that you believed at the time were the case. It's not a high percentage but none of us bat 1.000. You, me, everyone else who reads this and every person they know and know of. Fauci erred on the side of caution at times but frankly, the toddlers who in their desire to make the point that they didn't have to be told what to do, made it worse by proudly not doing anything at all. When you have you make 300 important decisions in a short amount of time, even the best of us will still have 5 that don't work out or that turn out to not be an accurate assessment.

The practice of medicine, under any circumstances, even under the best circumstances, amounts to our best current guess.

You wish it weren't true, physicians wish it weren't true, but that's the way science works, whether we like it or not.

Trump politicized the Covid pandemic for political reasons hoping to escape responsibility because he's a coward, and we all suffered for it.

And just because his cultists are too immature to accept that, doesn't change it one iota.

Here's the thing twocoach. When they released vaccines to the public, the only thing they studied was whether the vaccines reduced symptoms and mortality. Transmission was not even studied before vaccine rollout

So there claims can not be called erring on the side if caution. It was deliberate coercion, making a claim that they had nothing to back it on

The biggest take away from covid was the average American completely lost trust in their leaders/institutions

Because even if they meant well, they were dishonest about soooo many things. Which isn't new, but was exposed on a massive scale

I am not experienced enough or educated enough to even know, given the virology of Covid-19, whether a vaccine reducing or ending transmissibility was even realistically in scope?

Besides, there was already a proven, cheap, easy, reliable method of suppressing transmission.

I have said a thousand times here that, with the benefit of hindsight - and, specially, the benefit of the hindsight that fully 1/3 of our country would willingly accept a million US deaths for purposes of owning the libs - the more effective strategy would have been to change nothing we did pre-Covid, other than (1) mandating masks indoors around people and (2) developing vaccines that would reduce the harmful effects of Covid in those not so mentally diseased so as to reject a vaccine to own the libs.

But the point is moot, because our leadership - and, crucially, the ONLY guy who could have persuaded that 1/3 to think about anything BUT owning the libs - was interested in suppressing the PR, electoral and economic problem, rather than suppressing the fucking virus.

Like we've talked about, it's trouble with big numbers.

Trump literally might not have the mental power to accept that it is true at once that (1) millions of people, and in particular those among the crowds that follow him, love and support him, and ALSO (2) a greater number of millions of people do not love and support him.

I read your post to my wife, and she asked “who do you know that is this stupid?”

I let her know that I don’t KNOW Randy, I know of him. She asked me about some of your other posts, so I showed her. She was honestly surprised how gullible and stupid you must be.

The vaccine wasn't trialed for transmissibility

Before being released and mass produced, it was trialed to see if it would reduce symptoms and mortality. It did.

But that ignores the fact a large portion of the population was completely asymptomatic, another large portion only had mild symptoms

And only a small sliver of the population had serious symptoms or risk of death
