I wouldn’t mind if the Jets somehow pulled this out.

Multiple penalties could (should?) have been called on that return (including a block in the back/"blind side block" and a trip/"leg whip"?) but hey, I'm happy for Jets fans and Bills haters that the refs "let them play".

As a Garrett Wilson owner, go trade for Jameis.
He could probably be had for a 5th rounder.

...The rule all but eliminated the advantage of using "pop-up" kicks short of the goal line, which had grown in popularity as a strategy for pinning teams close to their goal line. That approach had increased the total number of returns during the past two seasons, causing a corresponding rise in concussions on the play.
Noting that concussions occur at a higher rate on kickoffs than any other play, the NFL's competition committee decided to further incentivize teams to avoid returns, at least for this season...

So, how many millions per minute are the Jets paying A-Aron for his 1 series?

"In terms of actual game time, Rodgers played for a total of 1 minute and 34 seconds before the clock was stopped following his injury, or 94 seconds total. That means he will be paid about $399,000 per second of game time he saw, or nearly $24 million for that first minute alone."

But they forgot the discount double check. I am sure State Farm will make good on a substantial rebate.pdub wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 11:47 am https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/sports/ ... n/4671955/
