Gutter what are you doing for Friday the 13!

If you’re free, and around Chicago, and feel like going to Phish, I’ll buy us a couple tickets…

1. Seems you are going to be in Chicago. Yes? No? Other than Phish, any reason why?
2. I am NOT going to be free on Friday. It's the one day out of the next 10 or so I have definite plans.
Except..... It's supposed to rain all day. If it is raining my plans may change.
3. I may see Phish on Saturday. If I had to guess, Sunday will be the better show based on it being their last one for a while.
4. If you are/were planning on spending the weekend in Chicago weekend, the weather is going to suck ALL weekend. Not a fun city when the weather is garbage.
5. I have to work Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm. If it's raining, I will work until 5:00pm. I assume if you are in Chicago you will be going to see Phish on Friday. I will be free most of Saturday but this is the weather forecast for Saturday.... 57°for a high 50 for a low. Rain. 30+ mph wind/s. I'm not doing anything outside.

3. Do it! Jelly! I guess it would be just as easy/difficult for me to randomly come for a Saturday than a Friday but I prob shouldn't go all the way to Chicago just for one night just to see a drug band

5. ok fine gutter, if you wanna go see Phish on Saturday, 1. should I start looking for plane/concert tickets, and 2a. do you know if United Center has a shakedown street and 2b. do the vendors get to sell food/beverages or are they only allowed to sell drugs?

also I saw Phish for the last night of summer tour. I thought it would be the better show, but it ended up being kind of a weird vibe. I think it was cuz there was like a 3 hour weather delay, so they had to just play one huge set, and prob scrapped the original plans for the show. Still some good moments tho - Gumbo, Ric Flair for beav, a face-melting Tweezer reprise for the encore - but yea that weather delay messed with shit.

That made me laugh.
I'm typically not a huge fan of covers but I would have loved to have seen/heard the Crosseyed and Painless (Talking Heads) Friday and the Corrina (Taj Mahal) and No Quarter (Led Zeppelin) last night.
I'm going to the Bears game today so that might be the extent of my energy today but at the moment I am 45/55 considering going to Phish tonight.

They did the Stones’ “Shine A Light” as the last song of the second set when I saw em and it might be the fave song I’ve seen em do so far.
