Trying to remember if his mistress was in her own apartment when Rudy heard the news. And then he had to figure out if the emergency command post he relocated to ground zero after the WTC had been attacked in 1993 was still there. On the way to his star turn, he tried to illegally stay in power as mayor.

It's interesting to me that New Yorkers who I consider/ed to be real heroes during and soon after 9/11 feel Rudy was far from being a hero.
