dt's money woes don't make uncle joe any younger.
Re: Charges
Mich back with the one talking point. Yay?
Re: Charges
It boggles the mind.
On one hand, you have an adjudged fraud and sexual abuser, who is also under felony indictments numbering at least close to 100, and who has exhibited outward signs of physical and mental decline.
On the other hand, the other guy is a couple years older.
Re: Charges
any and every thought, notion, opinion, idea etc etc that differs from what is inside your head, boggles your mind.
Re: Charges
Of course that’s not true. What is true is that the age thing makes no sense to hold against one but not the other…and one is an adjudged fraud and sexual abuser and under a hundred other felony indictments.

don’t forget, mich assured us that his party would move on from trump and that he wouldn’t be the nominee
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
Re: Charges
MICH and his ilk should just call a spade a spade: the advantage Trump has over Biden is that Trump’s authoritarian, xenophobic shit gives them the feelgoods. And those feelgoods are worth it.KUTradition wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2023 12:07 pm don’t forget, mich assured us that his party would move on from trump and that he wouldn’t be the nominee

Of even more simplistically, having an (R) in the White House makes them feel good, even if that (R) isn't actually doing what they claim they want them to do and is actually doing great harm to the long-term health of our nation and its economy.jfish26 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2023 12:11 pmMICH and his ilk should just call a spade a spade: the advantage Trump has over Biden is that Trump’s authoritarian, xenophobic shit gives them the feelgoods. It's beautiful. The Rs are stuck supporting Menendez because...well because they're doing their best to nominate a known corruptee (and corruptor, but who's keeping score) for the presidency!

Re: Charges
Exactly the game plan.
Sure, our Presidential nominee may have committed some "minor offenses", but look at what these evil Dems are doing!!!

If any of you, like me, pine for the days before bothsideism took over what used to be journalism, please watch this short video. My reaction to seeing it, the glee I felt, because it's so rare, was sadly, telling:
More evidence that the impeachment of President Joe Biden hearings beginning today by congressional republicans is based on NO EVIDENCE
The Republican chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee appeared to grow frustrated Wednesday as he struggled to respond to a series of questions at a news conference related to the committee's investigation into President Joe Biden and allegations of influence peddling.
Speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill, Rep. Jason Smith, R-Mo., highlighted what he characterized as "evidence of corruption and misconduct" tied to Biden, including a June 2017 message that his son Hunter allegedly sent to a business associate on the messaging platform WhatsApp.
Referring to the WhatsApp message, Smith said Hunter Biden told a business associate that he was not willing to “sign over my family’s brand.”
"It is clear," Smith said, that Hunter Biden was referring to "Vice President Joe Biden's political power and influence."
"The very existence of this file makes it abundantly clear that IRS investigators were concerned there was, in fact, a connection between Hunter Biden's global influence peddling, Joe Biden and official U.S. government activity," he added.
Pressed by NBC News reporter Ryan Nobles about the timing of the message — which, according to the panel's records, was sent after Biden concluded his second term as vice president but before his 2020 campaign — and how Biden could have been exerting political influence if he wasn't in office or a presidential candidate, Smith sidestepped the question.
“Well, I think the facts speak for themselves. There’s over 700 pages of examples of where people should be very concerned,” Smith said, adding later that Biden "was a candidate" during that period.
Biden launched his 2020 presidential campaign in April 2019.

Bail bondsman is first Trump co-defendant to plead guilty in Georgia election subversion case
One of former President Donald Trump’s co-defendants has pleaded guilty to five counts in the 2020 election subversion case in Georgia.
Bail bondsman Scott Hall, 59, is the first defendant in the case brought by the Fulton County district attorney’s office to take a plea agreement with prosecutors.
Hall was accused of conspiring to unlawfully access voter data and ballot counting machines at the Coffee County election office on January 7, 2021.
He spent hours inside a restricted area of the election office when voting systems were breached, which was connected to efforts by pro-Trump conspiracy theorists to find voter fraud. Hall was captured on surveillance video at the office on the day of the breach. He testified before the special grand jury in the Fulton County case and acknowledged that he gained access to a voting machine.
Prosecutors in Willis’ office signaled earlier Friday that they may soon extend a plea deal to one or both of the two defendants headed to trial.
The revelation came during a procedural hearing for former Trump campaign lawyer Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro, the alleged architect of the fake elector scheme. They are the first defendants in the case set to go on trial on October 23...
On or about the 2nd day of January 2021, SCOTT GRAHAM HALL, a Georgia bail bondsman, placed a telephone call to JEFFREY BOSSERT CLARK and discussed the November 3, 2020, presidential election in Georgia. The telephone call was 63 minutes in duration.
