You’re reading judgement into my statement that is not there. I think the jacket was stupid. As a father to a gay son, who, incidentally, played with Gradey in high school, I have no problem with his orientation. Hence, the “meh”.

Still I think you might be assuming things incorrectly as well if basing his orientation on dance videos and dumb red jackets.
No worries. I've said plenty of mean and thoughtless things in the past, so there was precedent to interpret it that way.
He is a free spirit by nature, as well as a case study in the poor judgment that goes along with being 20 years old and ridiculously wealthy. What seems funny and cool at that age looks a lot like bad judgment ten years later.
My assessment wasn't based on his videos or sartorial flair so much as things my son has told me. At the end of the day, I don't care - gay or straight. I disliked the jacket, but I'm thankful he wasn't sporting a matching cowboy hat and boots to go full dumbass.
My hope is that his performance on the court becomes the focus of attention soon.
