2024
Re: 2024
Let's Go Brandon!
Dark Brandon has decided to flex its online muscles by setting up camp on Donald Trump's home turf, opening an account on his rightwing social media platform Truth Social.
Operating under the handle BidenHQ, President Biden's reelection campaign account identifies itself as a "project of Biden-Harris 2024" and features a banner image bearing the phrase "the malarkey ends here," a nod to the President's distinctive catchphrase.
In a tweet on the platform formerly known as Twitter, the campaign hilariously explained its presence on Truth Social, stating, "mostly because we thought it would be very funny."
For its profile picture, the campaign opted for a portrayal of Biden as "Dark Brandon," a meme originating from the "Let's Go Brandon" chant used by rightwing circles as a veiled, vulgar criticism of the President.
While the account's tone is light-hearted, it's evident that the Biden campaign also intends to engage with conservative users. Their initial posts on the platform included content highlighting conservatives both praising Biden and critiquing Trump.
In their first post, the campaign wrote, "Well. Let's see how this goes. Converts welcome!" This move marks another playful and meme-filled digital strategy from the President's team that will last as long as Trump's fragile ego allows it to.

I do not think the timing is coincidental at all. And delicious that the only real way for Trump to stop this would be to, ah, censor Biden's right to free speech, as some would put it.Shirley wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 5:33 pm Let's Go Brandon!

I'm a bit confused. Wolf Larsen from the movie or Wolf Larsen as in Sarah Ramey?
Either way, at this moment, if I can write in a candidate when I vote in the Presidential Election, Wolf's Balls get my vote.
NEVERMIND!

New President - New Gutter. I am going to pledge my allegiance to Donald J. Trump and for the next 4 years I am going to be an even bigger asshole than I already am.

I know I see the world through my blue glasses, I try to see the other side of things and see myself "walking in red shoes" to try and understand where people who don't think like me are coming from.
With Cancun Ted, I just can't. I can't see anything other than a smarmy coward who will not stand up for his own family. No way I could vote for someone like that. I just won't understand the mindset of someone who would.

It makes it especially weird that it's a bunch of Texans voting for him.jhawks99 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 17, 2023 8:24 am I know I see the world through my blue glasses, I try to see the other side of things and see myself "walking in red shoes" to try and understand where people who don't think like me are coming from.

Have you met many Texans lately? Especially Metroplex, white-collar-cowboy types? Those dudes LOVE cosplaying as rugged frontiersmen, when they're really just factory-issue, fundamentally-cowardly xenophobes who are raging at the dying of the light. They're just doing it in heels.twocoach wrote: ↑Tue Oct 17, 2023 10:30 amIt makes it especially weird that it's a bunch of Texans voting for him.jhawks99 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 17, 2023 8:24 am I know I see the world through my blue glasses, I try to see the other side of things and see myself "walking in red shoes" to try and understand where people who don't think like me are coming from.

Watching the "America First" party from decades ago morph relentlessly into the "America's Worst" party, had been nothing short of stunning.KUTradition wrote: ↑Tue Oct 17, 2023 4:17 pm that’s one way to get votes
