My cost of living is almost the same as ever, with robust growth in investments. Russia attacking Ukraine, fed interest hikes (to end the run on housing) are pretty much the only variables fueling regional inflation. In Texas, gas is fifty cents lower than Kansas, which I am visiting. Gasoline is down about a buck from early summer.

Trump papering over catastrophe was the main fuel for the corrections under Biden. My mortgage was locked into a great rate during the Obama days.
