DJIA is up 5000 points since election day. Big chair man do good.
I realize I'm just arguing to argue....I totally understand that.

But, DJIA up 15% COL up 13% Food up 20% fuel up 38%

no good.
Food and fuel spikes are Russian invasion related.
lol. Russia contributes to it, sure. But it's incredibly over simplifying it to distill it to that single issue. Both were increasing prior to Putin and his Pirates stirring up the black sea.

Russia in collaboration with OPEC, especially KSA, have drastically cut oil production as a means to punish the U. S. for Russian sanctions (and help Trump by using the purse as a bludgeon in the next election) Ukraine provided a subtantial amount of the world's grain. Panic from losing those imports coupled with scarcity of oil has led to almost all non Fed interest hike inflicted inflation. The Fed was incredibly short-sighted increasing interest rates in a world emergency. The loss of oil and the tenuous nature of the supply chain post-COVID are mostly to blame for your expensive Cheerios. But Biden.

"on average Americans are spending $750 a month more compared to last year"

That is a huge number. No it's not all Biden, yes it will impact voters. No it's not some insignificant marginal change that people are upset about because of their voting preferences

The only thing that matters is the economy. Biden never figured that out.

You were not. But the discussion point by Randy, et al, is that he somehow is responsible for MBS and Putin.

I would rather drink bleach and/or colonoscopy prep with Sparko than have any beverage with randy.

So.....
Does Uncle Joe take/get any credit (that he doesn't deserve?) for the return of the two American hostages?

You could blame him just as easily. He forked over 6 billion in exchange for 5 people. He incentivized taking American hostages

And oh yeah, that 6 billion was funneled into hamas and helped fund terrorism

But sure yeah, let's just give him credit

Some. No doubt Biden changed the calculus for Hamas/Iran/Hezbollah, et al, by responding to the massacre as aggressively as he did, guaranteeing Israels future so vociferously, traveling to Israel and transferring major military assets to the area. But releasing the two Americans is propaganda, a public relations gesture by Hamas. Hamas wants to appear reasonable and sympathetic to the world, while creating drama and friction between Israel and the US, and possibly delay an Israeli invasion because... What if Hamas is willing to release more, all of the American hostages, but Israel blows that opportunity to smithereens by invading and killing hundreds/thousands of Palestinians while pursuing reasonable, virtuous Hamas, and the American hostages die in the process?

i’ve not seen anyone mention it specifically, but i’m heartened by the fact that the “imminent” ground invasion of gaza has yet to happen

i don’t think this would at all be the case if not for the work of both Blinken and Biden. to their credit, they’ve dimplomacy’d the fuck out of this situation
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
