"At the moment, Wiggins legacy is 2014 1st pick in the 1st round 1 time All-Star and NBA champion who was the second best player on the winning team ( and even had argument for overall best ) in those NBA finals."

Busts are Fultz, Anthony Bennett, Greg Oden, Bargani.
To me a bust means you really whiffed on the pick -- Wiggins has almost averaged 20 PPG for his career, that's not a whiff.

He will surpass Derrick Rose in career points this season. Was Derrick Rose a bust?

What ever it is you witnessed with the Nuggets, it sure seemed to me they knew what they were doing - at least more than the Lakers and Warriors knew what they were doing last night.

The NBA is about ball hogs freezing out competition on their own team. There are exceptions, but every team reverts to that line

True, but I felt like the Nugs rose above that mindset last year for the most part, which led to their success. Was not happy with what I saw last night.

I'm am NOT one of the people who feels Wiggins is a bust but there are plenty out there who do feel he is a bust. Fair or not. Stupid or not.
As you pointed out, there have been MUCH bigger "busts" than Andrew Wiggins that pretty much prove Wiggins should hardly be considered a bust.

Yes, he was a major contributor to/on a championship team, and for that he deserves a lot of credit.
He deserves credit for being rookie of the year.
He deserves credit for being a 35.3% career 3 point shooter.
He deserves credit for averaging 19.1 points per game for his career.
Problem is people SHOULD but some/many stupidly DON'T give him much credit for those things, and other than those things, there isn't a whole lot to give him credit for..... As the #1 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.

To answer your question on Rose. I don't think Rose was a bust but I do feel his career has been disappointing.
Despite him winning a league MVP. (Wiggins didn't).
Despite him being a 3 time All-Star (yes, probably in an easier conference to win MVP) and Wiggins was only a 1 time All-Star.
Despite him being a 1st Team all NBA player. Wiggins never was.
Derrick Rose had multiple severe knee (and other) injuries. Wiggins did not.

As far as your saying there is/as "even had argument for overall best" player in the 22 Finals. Come on. What argument is there?
That's almost like arguing Scottie Pippen was the best player on the 91 Bulls in the Finals.

That was written after Game 5 when Wiggins had an incredible game. 100% worthy of all the praise he got. Had a better game and was more valuable to his team in that game than Curry was.
Series was 6 games. Right?
Curry was probably better/more valuable than Wiggins in 5 of the 6 games of the series. Right?
But hey, let's hand out a series MVP award for one game and ignore the 5 others.

I'll see your USA Today article and raise you a SI article. Unanimous. Right?

The fact that there were articles gives it enough credibility to at least say there was argument. That article doesn’t just talk about one game.

Not a great one ( I’d give it to Curry ) but Wiggins played some of the best defense on the best players in that series.

Fair enough. I can/will say there was an argument. Just not one I would have made - and I don't want/mean to take anything away from Wiggins. No doubt the guy stepped up BIG (both offensively and defensively) and was a stud.
