Feels strange to be rooting for Georgia.

3rd quarter 9:21 left,

Mo 13

Ga 10

Ooops, GA 17

I was just thinking, I know this is sacrilege, but shouldn’t we kinda root for kstate and Missouri to beat good teams, and be good in general, to get some attention off the coastal teams?

Then Mizzou threw a horrible interception, and I thought, ‘yeah, fuck mizzou’.

No.
I’d never root for Mizzou.
Ever.

Even if them beating someone would benefit us somehow.

Never.

L ksu. L Mizzou. Let’s hope for OSU to close this.

I'm get a kick out of reading people who say they love/are happy KSU went for it on 4th Down.
Really? You love/are happy about it? THEY LOST THE GAME!
I had UT minus 4 so I was hoping KSUck would have kicked the FG to tie it. Then UT win by 6/7/8.

Other thoughts....

3-0 CU is now 4-5 CU. After 3 games COY "Prime" is now after 9 games COY JUNK.

I don't know, but I think - tOSU Is NOT the best team in the country.

Caleb Williams is plenty good, but I don't think he's the best. I also think it would be so Bears to get rid of Fields, draft Williams, and have Williams fail.

Oregon has won games by 74, 8, 45, 36, 36, 14, 29, and 44 points. Their only loss was by 3 to Washington.
While Penn State seems like a legit team, I say Oregon is the best 8-1 team.

What Bowl game would/will an undefeated James Madison play in?

If tOSU and Michigan are undefeated when they play, it's a BAD joke that the loser doesn't play in the Big 10 Championship and a shit team like Iowa (who doesn't play UM or tOSU in the regular season), Minnesota (who lost to UM by 42), Wisconsin (who lost to tOSU by 14 and will most likely lose to UM in the regular season), or Nebraska (who lost to UM by 38) will.

Clemson is 5-4 overall, 2-4 and in 10th place in their conference.
They lost to the #4 team in the country by 7 in overtime.
Explain that to me. I know I am nuts but I truly think Clemson many be one of the 25 best teams in the country RIGHT NOW and I don't think anyone can convince me they're not.

P.S. Alex Grinch blows!

Hindsight 20/20.
I think the decision was a good one before the results because of the circumstances.

I’m guessing the percentage of converting a 4th and 3 is around 50. I think you live with that 50/50 shot to win on the road to a top 10 team.

Only because I was at the Penn State-Indiana game, and listened to what many Penn State fans thought of their team (mostly mad at Franklin for real shitty game planning and play calling), I’d have to say they aren’t the best one-loss team, or close.
That said, their defense alone could keep them in any game.

I agree hindsight is 20/20 but I thought they should have attempted the FG before they didn't convert.
* It was actually 4th and 4. Operating out of a shotgun with no RB to block. Howard was standing on the 9 yard line when he got the ball. Was "sacked" (fell) on about the 16.
* Texas sniffed out the play and was prepared for it. If you are to believe Sarkisian, he said the thing he was worried about was Howard running it.
* Two factors that I feel should be taken in to account....Texas was held to a FG before that and was playing with a QB who was struggling. I don't know what the yardage was on the attempts but KSU was 4-11 on 4th Down conversions going in to the game.
* My guess is it's almost evenly divided in regards to if people feel they should have attempted the FG or have gone for it there.

I'm glad I am not a NCAA Head Coach. Well, I guess I wouldn't mind the $.

Tell WVU (38-15), Delaware (63-7), Illinois (30-13), Iowa (31-0), UMass (63-0) and Maryland (51-15) fans PSU isn't close to being the best one loss team. I'm not so sure they would agree with you.
I watched (in person) a horse shit Northwestern team out play PSU for a half of football. I thought PSU was HIGHLY overrated.
Then I watched PSU outscore (31-3) and completely dominate Northwestern in the 2nd half and thought this is/was a damn good football team.
They are.

Oh they are for sure damn good. Not as good as they should be, considering Penn State fan expectations (see: KU bball fan expectations).

I really hope they beat Michigan this Saturday. Even though the crowd was the equivalent of AFH at a early season it doesn’t matter game (still good, but horrible by their own standards), I can only imagine what that place is like with 107000 going nuts.

4th and 4 is 46 percent chance.
I’d take a 46 percent chance to win if I were in that situation.
I still like the call to go for it but not the play.

Fourth and Goal on the four is about 25 percent or so. The boundaries are defenders

Look at the chart.
Very solid in the go.

Unsure.
I’d think they’d be more in favor of the offense in college honestly.

Yeah, that makes sense. Call was ballsy last night. It’s one of those if it works he’s a genius, but situations.

I wish K-State woulda beat Texas, for many reasons. Mostly cuz fuck Texas (and OU).

KSU was winning on defense. Had a chip shot FG or a risky fourth down. Almost all analysts agree that it was a bad decision in context too
