That’s what many are speculating. Likely out for year. He shouldn’t play again.

Zion turns down Adidas money to come here. Duke and Nike pay him and The media basically sweeps it under the rug. And then the Nikes blew apart and maybe ended his season and possibly costs Nike as well. Somebody who is a good writer state it better than how I did.

You know it! They didn’t want to be there and it showed.

Wasn't that the year they lost in the NIT first round to Robert Morris?

Regardless of what happens to his injury from tonight if I’m Zion and his camp ZERO way I play another game for free.

I hate seeing injuries. The way he walked off defiantly reminded me of Bo Jackson and that OU tailback from the 80s. Not good.

Oops I meant to add a response but my fishing buddy made us get the top shelf margs at the Mexican joint in Forks lol don’t judge I’m on vacation.

But my response was, if we’re gonna start some kind of sneaker conspiracy theory then let’s at least take it to the F the NCAA thread

If he had taken the Adidas money instead of the Nike money, maybe he'd still be playing with two functional shoes and knees.

are we really going to pretend Adidas has better quality sh(es than Nike?

I hope the kid is okay. He's been nothing but positive for college basketball. I didn't think it was that serious initially.

Sucks for Obama and LeBron (and everyone else who paid 2k+ for tickets) to watch such a boring game.

Gutter's worthless 2 cents in regards to the Zion injury.
As usual, we have people on here who are quick to diagnose an injury.
K said it's a "mild sprain". Highly doubtful Zion had an MRI and K had the results by the time K had the post game presser but I'll go ahead and assume the Duke medical staff has a better idea of what the proper diagnosis is than I or anyone else on here does.
Both companies make way overpriced shitty quality shoes. Nike does have to wipe a lot of egg/shit off of their faces for this one. https://www.cbssports.com/college-baske ... ee-vs-unc/
If Zion took Adidas money he might be at KU but there is a decent chance he would have been injured some other way - just like a disproportionate amount of our bigs have been over the years.
Being a big at KU can be a curse and is almost as risky being a keyboard player for the Grateful Dead.
I wish the kid well and as holiday alluded to, Zion has a lot to think about - assuming he would be able to play more games for Duke this season and the injury isn't too serious.

If he had taken the Adidas money instead of the Nike money, maybe he'd still be sitting on the KU bench in street clothes ineligible but with two functional shoes and knees.
I only came to kick some ass...

Rock the fucking house and kick some ass.

Not all that funny to me but it was indeed a clever comment.

On another related to Zion note...
