infrastructure talk

Post by dolomite »

In China if the government wants to build a rail line from Point A to Point B.....it builds the rail line from Point A to Point B. In the US you can't just grab the land because of resisting property owners and environmental impact statement requirements. If your desired route will negatively impact a spotted owl, snail darter or some other example of protected wildlife you are SOL. And ....union labor rates will make the costs prohibitive....as California Governor Newsom just admitted.

In this sense, he's like both our current and previous president.

You don't need to draw me a picture.

Too bad your ignorant leader doesn't understand that Infrastructure is more important than a dumb wall.

If we weren't giving corporations massive tax cuts and wasting billions on worthless walls, we could actually afford to do these projects.

Honestly, reading your childish rants on here are like taking my 5 year old to Target. "I want this, I want that!" with no concept of money or circumstances.
