Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Looking at the route and trajectory...it seems that someone was hauling ass...the road curved right...they went straight.
That will happen at 100 MPH.
Doesn't seem all that suspect to me.

According to socialist "news" site MSNBC, there's currently no evidence that explosives were involved.Overlander wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 4:06 pm Looking at the route and trajectory...it seems that someone was hauling ass...the road curved right...they went straight.

To me, Rs’ thirsty response here suggests that we should in fact be *extremely* skeptical and slow to draw conclusions when, some time between now and next November, there is an actual attack near the southern border.

Ted Cruz falsely claimed the Rainbow Bridge accident was a terrorist attack
And that the attack on Pelosi was a gay lovers tryst
And that the election was stolen
Why is this douchebag still a Senator?

The incident at the bridge and the almost gleeful reporting by many republican pundit’s including members of congress was disgusting and wrong. Will we hear an apology,; no of course not! They will just move on to the next lie! Ooh yeah they blamed Joe Biden’

It’ll be more cynical than that. I think you’ll see some Rs twist their own thirsty overreaction into a “but who could blame the folks for assuming the worst in Joe Biden’s America? We are all living in fear.”Shirley wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2023 7:03 am zzling scientist?

Wait wait wait. Where’d Joe get the Bentley? Many people are asking questions.Overlander wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2023 8:01 am Joe Biden was racing the douche biscuit behind the wheel of the Bentley?
Re: Sigh...
This should be easy,: "Yesterday, I concluded, erroneously but based on early law enforcement reports, that the incident at the northern border was linked to terrorism. On this Thanksgiving Day, I am eternally thankful that it wasn't terrorism and that more people were not hurt. My deepest gratitude to the men and women of the border patrol who handled the situation bravely and brilliantly and help to keep us all safe. God bless them. God bless you. And God bless America. Go Cowboys!"jfish26 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2023 9:14 amIt’ll be more cynical than that. Please provide a link to support your claim that "local law enforcement has confirmed that this is being treated as a terrorist incident" as what I have seen so far seems to contradict that.
"At this time, there is no indication of a terrorist attack" or threat to the public, New York Governor Kathy Hochul told reporters on Wednesday evening. Her comments were echoed by federal and local law enforcement officials at a separate news conference.
The FBI said in a statement it had concluded its investigation. "A search of the scene revealed no explosive materials, and no terrorism nexus was identified," the FBI said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Niagara County officials released this statement regarding the incident:
“Niagara County officials are at the Rainbow Bridge, along with multiple state and local agencies, with appropriate resources to support the investigation of today’s car explosion. This is a federal incident and the investigation will be led by the federal government. As such, we will not be making any additional public comments, as we will defer to lead investigators so there is a single point of communication to the public and media.”

Re: Sigh...
What "early law enforcement reports"? There is zero mention of such a statement by local authorities in any coverage by the local Niagara Gazette. If they have numerous interviews with people who saw smoke from a nearby 7-11 then I feel pretty strongly that if such a statement was made that it would have shown up in one of their numerous posts about the incident.DCHawk1 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2023 10:11 amThis should be easy,: "Yesterday, I concluded, erroneously but based on early law enforcement reports, that the incident at the northern border was linked to terrorism.
