"over stimulated internet drama queen" would be the explanation.

Re: The Deep State
yup, that’s randy to a tee
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Mike Johnson finally gives the people a voice again. He's the last guy the deep state wanted for speaker of the house

it’s supposed to be the Speaker of the HOUSE…not just of the house pubs

Re: The Deep State
AKA he doesn't fit your model of "the Deep State is in charge of everything". If the Deep State was in charge of everything as you claim and they didn't want him to be speaker then he wouldn't be speaker.randylahey wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 11:18 pm Mike Johnson finally gives the people a voice again. Mike Johnson hasn't done anything here but pat antisemite Elon Musk on the back for censoring different people than used to be censored by Twitter.randylahey wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 11:18 pm Mike Johnson finally gives the people a voice again. Re: The Deep State
Because Mike and Elon have, fundamentally, the same concept of “free speech”. And, spoiler alert, it has hilariously little to do with the First Amendment.twocoach wrote: ↑Fri Nov 24, 2023 2:45 pmMike Johnson hasn't done anything here but pat antisemite Elon Musk on the back for censoring different people than used to be censored by Twitter.randylahey wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 11:18 pm Mike Johnson finally gives the people a voice again. I was struck by the lack of historical support for the notion that the Constitution could be read to prohibit abortion…and also even the notion that the Bible prohibits abortion.
The Bible gets fairly granular on things that are prohibited, and abortion isn’t one of them. In fact, I would disagree with the adverb in the article’s sentence: “(Interestingly, abortion is not mentioned in the Bible either.)”
Maybe it’s really not very interesting at all.

i wonder how many know that abortion was perfectly legal and generally accepted for roughly the first half of this country's historyjfish26 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 11:59 amI went back and reread the article you posted.
