KU has now played 4 games against teams currently ranked in the Top 12 and are 3-1 in those games.

I thought Bill decided a few years ago that we weren't gonna do that anymore...

what a gutsy win…all triggered by stellar D on the part of KJ, DH, and KM
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
Re: Official Jayhawks Collar the huskies Thread
I said we're gonna win this a few pages ago. I may have been busy yelling at my teevee for the last few minutes.
Defense. Rebounds.
Re: Official Jayhawks Collar the huskies Thread
This is the defense and rebounding we've been begging for from this team. Now that they've shown they can do it - expectations for that level from here on.KUTradition wrote: ↑Fri Dec 01, 2023 10:48 pm what a gutsy win…all triggered by stellar D on the part of KJ, DH, and KM

Man. They hit some late and tough shots. Hated seeing it come down to the last shot, but the defense came through.

Beat:

TENN
UCONN
Lost to Shaka, but if we play Marquette again, we'll win.
Pretty good resume so far. Tonight may have been our best defensive game so far. Love these guys.

Fun Friday night.
Defense looked lock down and UConn was getting bailed out by prayer threes.
KJ Adams is my favorite.
I got a 50 percent boost on KU last night and went with ML but shoulda gone with spread ( - 3 ).

Re: Official Jayhawks Collar the huskies Thread
Yesterday late afternoon and evening I attended the Chicago Elite Classic. Wanted to leave early so I could watch both the Oregon/Washington game and the KU/UConn game. Was not happy that my buddy who drove didn't care about either game and made me stay. Yes, I could have taken a cab/Uber home and STRONGLY considered doing as such.
Finally I convinced him to leave. Got home in time to see the last 3:30 of the KU game and the last half of the 4th Quarter of the Oregon/Washington game. Was a great night sports wise for me.
On a sort of related note. I watched a kid play last night that really impressed me. Listed as a generous 6 feet tall, he was a mix between Russell Robinson, Sherron Collins, Jeremey Chase, and Mario Chalmers. Except he's White.
I'm not sure he's good enough but the kid has Dook written all over him. That being said, I am predicting Dan Hurley takes a look at him. Absolutely has to remind him of himself and his brother Bobby.
Kid's name is Ty Macariola.
