The schedule looked tough to begin with. I was scratching my head on the rest business when it rolled out. Phillie even came off the same bye week which I have never seen before in a cross conference game. Throw in junk penalties and it is clear the NFL is tired of KC winning so much. Just too much to say there wasn't some intention there. I don't remember ever seeing rest as a weapon like this before on a season long basis. Props to Reid and Mahomes for succeeding in spite of the rest issue--which in a 17 game schedule is a big deal. If it gets to be too much, may have to rest starters a game.
