pretty good game b/t zona and wiscy
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Man, Arizona just put an absolute ass whooping on Wisconsin and look to be the clear #1 team in the country right now. Yeesh, they are formidable.

Has anyone reading this ever attended a college game where family members yelled at a coach of their kid during a game?
Blew my mind today.
I'm not sure if it was either Trey White's or Mike James' family but it was a few people and it was brutal, disrespectful, and embarrassing.

I get the frustration but come on. That was worse than High School shit.

Speaking of which......

#Louisville could have hired Mick Cronin. Instead, incompetent admins hired Payne, Kenny.
The result: 8-33, including today's loss to the second-worst team in CBB.
Louisville Basketball hits ROCK BOTTOM. End this #shitshow

If Kenny Payne truly loves this program he will do the right thing and walk away! This ain’t Louisville basketball.

I will say I can at least get some entertainment from the reaction by some.
Oh, this game is what made you realize that Louisville made the worst hire in the history of college basketball?

Louisville basketball may not win a game the rest of the year. Good thing they paid Kenny Payne $20,000,000.

Fire Kenny Payne today. Down 16 to a 1-7 DePaul team. Louisville basketball is the laughing stock of the country.

Kenny Payne shows zero emotion. Zero fire, zero anything. Dudes laughing after losses. This is fucking so far from Louisville basketball, it's disgusting. Heird needs to fire this clown tonight. Show that you give a fuck.

Kenny Payne needs a longer contract to feel food secure.

LSU (women) beat McNeese (women) by 89. 133 to 44. Shut out McNeese in the 2nd quarter.
To me, Mulkey becomes less likable by the minute.

She can't get less likeable than "not likeable at all" for me so there's that.

One of the items on my list of why I don't like her. Not a big fan of the "bedazzled Southern gaudy" look. It's just high-end trashy.

Pretty sure I didn't like her before any of you, but I might be wrong.

Her pandemic-specific actions, comments and behaviors moved her up from "she looks ridiculous" to "she just sucks". Prior to that, I didn't really pay enough attention to her sport for me to have more of an opinion than just "WTF is that person wearing?" I probably watch more women's ncaa hoops than the average random sports fan but I don't follow it.

I don’t know whether I hated finals week more when I was in school, or more now that I’m not.

Make college basketball make sense to me.
Northwestern shot 49.1% FG and 47.1% 3pt and lost at home to Chicago state.
The same Northwestern team that beat at the time #1 Purdue.
The same Chicago State team that lost by 29 to Bowling Green.
The same Bowling Green team that lost by 18 to Bellarmine.

And on the same night that #8 Creighton lost to 3-4 UNLV by 15. NCAA hoops is crazy and makes no sense. Maybe the roster turnover makes teams more susceptible to these weird "one-off losses, I don't know.

More teams should be playing every night. Are games like practice quizzes for the final exam in March for the basketball players? Because I doubt they go to class hardly at all, anymore (ever?)

#5 UConn vs. #10 Gonzaga tonight. Saturday with Kansas vs Indiana, Kentucky vs Carolina, Arizona vs. Purdue and a slew of other great matchups. This has been an awesome season of good games between big name programs so far. I really like how much the big name teams are playing each other in non-con lately.
