When Self doesn’t have a set 7 or 8 man rotation he struggles. Hence the disparity in minutes between Moore, or Mitch or your five star BIG who some how got a C-DNP. Self has to be just as puzzled as we are with the type of brain dead play on the road.

Well that's a little bit of logic at play. Any coach is going to be better and more comfortable when there are 8 guys in clearly defines roles. Sort of like when people were calling Ned Yost a genius bullpen manager with Herrera/Davis/Holland and then a terrible one when that got picked apart.

Problem with this squad is that he basically has to go with different guys for different matchups because of the Udoka and De Sousa situations and the space cadet senior that can't seem to hold onto a starting lineup spot. Mitch, KJ and McCormack are basically 3 completely different players and those guys plus Moore (until tonight) just haven't looked like Kansas level players for this season.

Usually, February 22 is Self's day to have it figured out or not. I will be patient. We haven't seen the triangle and two yet. I think tonight was the foreshadow.
