It sure looked like Baker tried to kick a defender getting up from that sack

Is there a bigger D-Bag on TV than Nick Wright?

Maybe Skip Bayless.
After that, nobody comes to mind. Not even SAS.
Re: NFL 2023
Skip Bayless, Joe Rogan, Colin Cowherd, Keith Olbermann, Kyle Brandt, the list goes on.

Why does Wright have to scream everything?

Sports news has become exhausting.
It’s always a room full of people screaming to be the loudest with the hottest takes.
Unwatchable

I think it's because now it's a 24/7 cycle. They talk about all sports and there's no way they can watch all those games each day/night.Overlander wrote: ↑Mon Jan 22, 2024 9:21 pm Sports news has become exhausting.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

If it wasn’t for SVP, there would be no reason to watch ESPN

I know they can't match the sportscenter money, but I've always wished the PGA Tour would snatch him away and let him do the golf announcing. We get him for the Masters, but that's about it. And even then it's relatively limited.Overlander wrote: ↑Mon Jan 22, 2024 11:12 pm If it wasn’t for SVP, there would be no reason to watch ESPN
Re: NFL 2023
Kyle Brandt is one of the hosts of Good Morning Football on the NFL Network and does the whole "Angry Runs" bit.DeletedUser wrote: ↑Mon Jan 22, 2024 3:47 pmJoe Rogan is definitely a little crazy (maybe a lot crazy), but he doesn't seem like he fits the D-bag category for me.
And I don't even know who Kyle Brandt is.

No one said there were going to be maths.

Analytics has its place. But chasing lost points causes other math to kick in. Kick the extra point. If you decide to try to win in regulation, make sure you have Casey holding onto the ball.
A lot of good reasons not to go for two unless there is no choice: penalties and injuries. It is an all-out effort play. Think of UNLVs desperate stretch. The new playoff OT rules made the choice pretty stupid this weekend.
