I also think it’s dumb the qb can throw it out of bounds when he’s out of pocket to avoid a sack. Ball should be downed at point of release. Still protect qb that way.

I think they should give it to the offense at the 2 or the point of the fumble, whichever is further back. Some punishment but no turnover.
