Pretty disappointed in LeBron lately. He's showing no heart and no effort....and then taking shots at his teammates in the media about distractions.....after missing a game for rest purposes, but caught on video the night before the game at 2am in a studio producing a 2chainz album.

Lakers really fucked up by letting all that trade stuff leak.

LeBron is averaging 24.6 PPG, 10.1 RPG and 10.7 APG since he's come back from injury.
He's shooting 49% from the field.

Close but wrong. Doesn't really matter. What does matter is his defense. Or lack of it.

LeBron is averaging 24.6 PPG, 10.1 RPG and 10.7 APG in February ( he played one game in January where he scored 24 points, had 14 rebounds and 9 assists ).
He's shooting 49% from the field.
And while this stat is definitely flawed, LeBron James still ranks in the top 20 in defensive win shares. He's not a slouch.

Don't get me wrong, he's been plenty good. He's probably been a top 10 if not top 5 player in the league since he's been back. Even with 1.5 legs.
His absence proved how valuable he is to the Lakers.
Problem is that team has a coach who isn't top 10 and a GM who isn't top 10.
I don't think they should quit just yet but at some point it just might not be a terrible idea to shut him down if and when they give up hope of making the playoffs.

Sure, you'd shut him down when it makes sense mathematically.
There are 20 or so games left.
They're 3 games back.

By mid-March if you haven't made up any ground on any teams, then sure.
Kinda premature with 20 games left.

I don't know how defensive win shares are calculated....but there is plenty of video evidence recently of him literally standing flat footed and watching. Not even near an offensive player. Just hanging out.

And that's coming from a huge LeBron fan.

Why do you wear the number (3) you wear?
A: I think it first started with (retired NBA player) Allen Iverson. I wanted a number that really no one else wore. My dad wore 10, and I wanted that to be his number.

What the fudge is wrong with the Warriors? Lost at home by 33 last night. 3-5 in their last 8.
Interesting that Kerr is taking blame. Kerr is a great coach but I'm not too sure I couldn't coach this team to a 44-20 record - with his assistants.
Durant's post game presser was somewhat telling. Seems there just may be some dissension.

And....... Luke Walton still has a job today because of........ why?
Yes, I do at least partially blame the coach for this type of culture.
P.S. Derrick Rose wanted me to ask why LeBron is/was still on the floor in a game the Lakers had conceded at that point.
