Momentum always matters. Especially when you're in a hostile road environment. Going up by 2 scores against a team that hasn't been here is a big deal.

Another big stop. Our defense is playing much better than theirs. They have basically had 3 big individual plays by Lamar. KC offense is doing what they want play after play.

Re: Chiefs 2023
i consider that one, and their touchdown pretty lucky
it could very easily by 21-0, if not for a bit of luck

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

James; both hands on ball next time. Secure it please. Thanks.

Kelce also has that wild catch for a big first down.
There have been some highlights in this first half!

It's not basketball. There's too many long stoppages of play in football for there to be any real "momentum".DeletedUser wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 3:04 pmMomentum always matters. Especially when you're in a hostile road environment.
Baltimore's "momentum" they gained was one first down on a lucky Lamar tipped pass to himself and then a stop.
Re: Chiefs 2023
On the Kelce Jerry Rice beating catch. The replay showed him much closer than the spot. But at least would have had time to think about 4th down.

100%. KC has dominated so far.KUTradition wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 3:05 pmi consider that one, and their touchdown pretty lucky

It's game momentum. Momentum doesn't just have to be crowd noise and jumping up and down pounding your chest after dunks.
We got the stop so it didn't matter. Thankfully.
There is momentum in all sports imo.

So we agree that Balitome did not gain any momentum.DeletedUser wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 3:11 pmDid you play a lot of football?twocoach wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 3:07 pmIt's not basketball. We go from a scenario where we could have gone up 14 to a scenario where they could have tied. That would have significantly changed the momentum of the game. Instead, us failing the convert the 4th down or kick 3pts stalled our momentum and gave them a chance to steal it back, but they failed to do so. Thankfully.

We need another big stop here. Keep this lead going into the half.
