Re: Refs
I think the call probably would have stood since they called it a catch on the field, but I can't believe at minimum they wouldn't look at it for a min or 2.

Re: Refs
Full review though?
I think that hold call was pretty weak. Arm was out stretched but it wasn’t grabbing, WR made a cut and ran into an outstretched arm.
We shoulda gotten some reviews. Maybe we wouldn’t have won any of em but it’s the SB. Check.
The trick play was illegal man down field.
All that said, it was a well called game I guess. Nothing holy shit MVS no penalty/Toney offsides.

Re: Refs
I see that and raise them a TD scoring play with 4 missed holds/blocks in the back.

Re: Refs
Those were pretty obvious. Truth is, you could call offensive holding on every play of every team in the NFL if you look at them in slo-mo. How many times was Jones held in that game?RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2024 10:09 am https://twitter.com/The33rdTeamFB/statu ... 3966427313

Re: Refs
I don't need them to be even. Just call the egregious ones that had a direct impact on the results. If a guy was going to make a play but was prevented to by clear holding then call it. It that happens 5 times by one team and 1 time to the other, so be it. I dont 4 BS ones called on the other team to balance it out.
Re: Refs
I get what you are saying, but like the 2021 Superbowl, it can get ridiculous. Also, waiting to make a call like the Toney/Houston offsides instead of just verbally correcting it or letting it go needs to stop. Literally no advantage. I watched the Ravens do worse than Toney about 10 times against the Texans.twocoach wrote: ↑Sun Feb 18, 2024 9:10 am I don't need them to be even.
