I think it’s split.
Mahomes had shit to work with and just did all he needed to to win.
Don’t underestimate making plays to not lose yards or get turnovers ( though he had a bad one today ).

Peyton won his 2nd doing that.

And even that said, Mahomes had 333 yards passing and 400 total yards. That’s a good amount.

Yeah. This defense doesn't get enough credit. Has there even been a better defensive coordinator than Spagnuola? Took down the undefeated patriots and won 2 before kansas city, and completely rebuilt our defense and won 2 here

I think it was a legit 50/50. The defense made the plays they needed to make and then Mahomes did. Great defensive battle. Mahomes is just inevitable. That freaking ruled. Legendary run through the highest scoring team in an epic battle vs. the weather in Miami, the hottest team heading into the playoffs in Buffalo, the best team in the NFL in Baltimore and the 2nd best team in the NFL in San Francisco.
