For his sake, I hope so. He obviously wants to be here. Wants to get better. Those are good types of players to have on the roster in supporting roles.

Stinks that Houston and Iowa State only got 1 Big Monday road game each while KU will not only have two of them but in back to back weeks.

Scheduling aside, there's no excuse for losing to UCF and WVA. You expect to run into Hilton magic now and again and K-state always plays their best game of the year when the Jayhawks come to town but those other 2 we really needed to get.

Ucf probably is better. Size and good athletes, just not a great offensive team.

Kstate has been very unimpressive this year. Even with it being a "rivalry game/their superbowl" that still felt like a bad loss
