Igor Stravinsky was one of my favorite composers. Should I hate him because he is Russian? Isn't that what the mainstream media tells you to do?

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Never forget that in 2024 democracy and Stravinsky are on the ballet.

No, it's not. Like virtually everything else, you seem to not be understanding what you're reading.

I have not seen one media member or network who has ever attempted to convince me that everything Russian, including its Indvidual citizens, is bad.

VGR!

What happened? Why isn't he still one of your favorite composers?
If you tell me you used past tense because he's dead, then why the heck would you use present tense when you said "because he IS Russian"?
Who in the mainstream media has told you (or me, or anyone else) that Americans are supposed to hate Russian people?
I ask that forgetting the fact that Stravinsly was an American citizen for a good part of his life.

Being that he was/is one of your favorite composers (something tells me you can't name 5 things/songs/symphonies/operas/concertos/ballOts  he composed), I assume you know he was a cousin fucker, an anti-semite, and probably a fascist.

The GOP frontrunner simultaneously disavowed the U.S.’s mutual defense commitment with NATO and disparagingly invited Russia to attack U.S. allies - not unlike his invitation to Putin to hack Hillary Clinton’s emails in 2016. These are consistent rather than spontaneous positions

Every Republican supporter of Trump should be put on the record if (s)he supports this position.

If they take the cowardly Paul Ryan position (“I didn’t read about this”) play it to them and then have them issue a position.

Uh oh.

"While CPI inflation is at 3.1%, inflation is much higher in many basic necessities:

1. Car Insurance Inflation: 20.6%
2. Transportation Inflation: 9.5%
3. Hospital Services Inflation: 6.7%
4. Car Repair Inflation: 6.5%
5. Homeowner Inflation: 6.2%
6. Rent Inflation: 6.1%
7. Food Away From Home Inflation: 5.1%

Both Core CPI and headline CPI came in hotter than expectations.

This is second straight month with both readings being hotter than expected.

Markets have priced-out two interest rate cuts in 2024 over the last 6 weeks.

Affordability is still getting worse."

Gosh. This is all Biden's fault? There are always market fluctuations. Gas was under a dollar during the pandemic because noone drove. And lowering interest rates, which you compare to the end times, would ease housing costs which you said were crashing

Most of it is. Not all. Trump did QE at the beginning of covid, but Biden took it to an extreme. All that stimulus has a price.

Housing is falling sharply in California, at least. I was a little early in seeing what would unfold.

But also, all this money being sent to Ukraine isn't helping either. People who are based, they realize this currency was created for Ukraine. The wise Americans are preparing for a decreased standard of living in the future.
