Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

And yet she STILL had the ability to legally buy a gun in Texas.

In an interview with CNN affiliate KHOU, Carranza said that she feared Moreno might be the shooter the moment she heard the news. “She had a particular kind of schizophrenia that caused her to become violent,” Carranza said. “She threatened her husband, my own son, and we still couldn’t get intervention.”

Of course, where this has always been headed is that R-leaning states will (1) magnanimously adopt mental health restrictions on guns/ammo, and (2) include transsexuality on the restrictions list.

It’s perfect of course: they will get to say they’re taking gun violence seriously, while ALSO bureaucratically othering trans people.

You understand that some people use different names, including of different genders, simply to hide their own identity or for fraudulent reasons, don't you?

Sure.

Are you saying this person wasn't Trans? They were just pretending to conceal their identity?

I am stating that it is a faulty leap of logic to ASSume that someone would only use a different name of a different gender because they are trans or otherwise gender confused. ANYONE saying that they know the situation based solely on the limited facts available is a liar or a lemming.

Here’s what I KNOW - whatever was or was not between this person’s legs, or what this person wishes was or was not between this person’s legs, once again this person’s crazy did not manifest in a frying pan attack.

And this is part of why the Randlers go right to the whip on this stuff - we’re talking here, now, about sex stuff. Not the gun.

the “sex stuff” isn’t even the most notable thing foxnews is reporting on

It's part of the "conservative" Republican, Christo-Fascist, (but I repeat myself), obsession to control anything and everything possible in the general vicinity of a woman's pelvis.

Real, imagined, medical, hetero, homo, trans, or otherwise.

Win some, lose some. I guess that's life?

But at least her 2nd amendment rights weren't infringed, so it wasn't a total loss.

And just like that, no more parades.

Good job, gun-fuckers.

Fascinating that we had much more relaxed gun laws and more guns in the 1970s, yet these sort of things didn't happen. Maybe, just maybe, there's another explanation for what is making people do this.

The statistics do not bear this out in a meaningful way, please take your trans-fear-mongering elsewhere.

lol, those stats just prove what I was stating. 45% of people families in the 1970s owned guns as apposed to 42% in 2023. But the other problem is, you completely ignored the other facts I mentioned. Guns were far easier to access back in 1975. People were just less sick back then because we had real food, less people on pharma pills for mind issues, and society as a whole was much more productive.

Actually, this is another teaching moment where I think this applies. People who blame guns for this are in the left line.
