Re: KU Women's BB
if Angel had actually been a major reason why LSU won, i’d have no issue with it
if morris or carson had done it after knocking down shot after shot, good on them
seemed kinda petty though…and now she’s trying to be some kind of martyr over the outrage. whatever. kids will be kids

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

She's been kind of pissed off all postseason as she wasn't nominated for any major awards this year. And averaged something like 25/15 all year.
Go for it, Angel.

Re: KU Women's BB
I watched the replay of that and if it had just been the initial wave and ring point, that's a meh.
Not a fan in general of players taunting but Clark had been doing things like that all tourney so fair game.
The difference though was her following Clark around after the initial taunt - just making sure she knew that she saw it - she just kept doing it and Clark was trying to ignore her. Trashy.

They mirror their arrogant preening coach.

Didn't know where to put this. It's KU related and it's women's basketball so I am putting it here.

At least I went to The Fieldhouse tonight and saw the women beat up Baylor after being down 9 mid way through the second quarter.
I was gonna watch the Men’s game tonight when I got home, but some phuck hole a row above me spouted out the men’s score.

Holly Kersgeiter is about my favorite KU athlete right now. Wish we had more of her focused attitude on the men's team
Re: KU Women's BB
How do you go from beating the no. 4 team by 20 and then loosing to the no. 11 team by 35?

Re: KU Women's BB
i guess this is the only women’s b-ball thread
Clark with the all-time women’s scoring record, and with a shot to break Pistol Pete’s ncaa record

She really can shoot the rock.
It's kind of an ugly from the hips/midsection shot ( Dajuan! ) but it goes in.

Re: KU Women's BB
The three point line made it possible to play HORSE during the game. Pistol Pete did not have the three point line. That was also the time of the JV
Re: KU Women's BB
Big win for KU to beat no. 10 ksu.
Needed that for March Madness resume.

Re: KU Women's BB
Clark passes Lynette Woodard for the most career points in D1 women's college.
Of course, Woodard did not get to benefit from the 3 point line.
And when Clark inevitably passes Pistol Pete, and her record is compared to Pete's, it should be mentioned that:
A. Pete did it in 3 seasons ( freshmen weren't allowed to play )
B. Pete had no 3 point line
C. Pete played men's basketball

Re: KU Women's BB
the team is 4-0 when I go this year...including Baylor and K-State.
That game was fun to watch last weekend.
I'm curious if they've done enough to make tourney. Sure haven't played as well as expected for much of year, though.
Re: KU Women's BB
Really hard seeding. You win one, you play on the road against one seed USC in LA. Hate the way the women's bracket runs.
