The point is I don't see any of you trying to defend the sanity of someone being transabled or transracial. It's no different than being transgendered
When you create a seperate identity from reality... it's delusional
The point is, we were discussing transgender.
I don't try and defend the sanity of people who enjoy eating liver when I am discussing pizza.
Being transabled or transracial is no different that being transgendered? What about transportation and transponders? Are they no different?
OH! You meant a person believing that are something YOU feel they are not.
Let's play YOUR game for a minute.
My guess is many if not the majority of people who believe someone is insane for believing that they are transabled or transracial, are people who believe God impregnated a woman named Mary without sexual intercourse and she had a child named Jesus. They believe many, if not most, if not all, of the bullshit stories in the Bible. Hey, I would like to think insanity loves company. I guess not.
How's this? I believe we are ALL insane - in many different ways.
I'm just glad I have YOU to be the ultimate decider on who and what YOU decide is insane and letting me know who and what I am supposed to feel is insane.
All that being said, I don't fully understand transgenderism, transablism, transracialism, etc., etc.
What I do fully understand is that people are different and there is not a single person I have met who I believe has the same exact beliefs as I have.
You feel someone is "insane" for believing they are something they feel they are but YOU feel they are not. I get that. So be it.
Now I am going to ask you something.
I used to sit in a support group for an hour every Monday. My guess is YOU would have felt everyone in that group was "insane". So, would YOU listen to those people, try and understand those in the group's problems, and try and help those people, or would you walk out of the room saying fuck those people, they're all nuts?
I accepted those people for who they were. I listened to and tried to support those people. I could be wrong, but I felt it made me a better person by doing as such. Imagine that.
