Imagine quitting on your team (allegedly) but still sitting on the bench to support them.

I think extended rest is the cure for a bone bruise. He's had a set back every time he's played since the injury.
As much as it sucks its probably the right move. Shitty for KU fans, but mccullars whole future is somewhat at stake. To him that's more important than one tournament

Sure.
But he looses a lot of points from me.
I think it's entirely possible he was worried about his draft status for struggling to shoot/finish with his injury and that the tournament would have a lot of eyes on him.

That's exactly what it is.

It's also possible that he's concerned he won't get healthy enough for the combine in a couple months.
Or a combo of both.

Sorry Kevin, not a fan.

I really liked mccullars game. Injuries suck. He was having a 1st team AA caliber year, yet he's going to be quickly forgotten here at KU. Very forgettable legacy

Hope he heals up and has a decent profession career

I mean at least we know he had an injury that's been bothering him. Could be worse, think college football. Those dudes will be 100 percent healthy and sit out of bowl games. Hell there were dudes on teams in the actual playoff trying to win a national championship that sat out

I feel bad for KM. Whatever is going on, I am sure it wasn't an easy decision.

Line only dropped a point.

But yea, not only do we loose our most multifaceted scorer, we loose another elite perimeter defender vs a team that is set to chuck.

Dajuan is going to be smothered when trying to bring the ball across the court - he's the only guy now who can really bring it up.
